🌷💗Thank you 11Alive for a beautiful tribute to First Lady Carter. I was born in 1971, and President Jimmy Carter was my first President as a child understanding and knowing who the President was. I remember being so proud of President Carter for helping to free hostages. I have always respected the calm of the Carters and their longevity in matrimony. What an honorable life Mrs. Carter lived. Your coverage is beautiful.🌷🌷🌷 #StealMagnolia #MentalHealth #Dementia

Same here , I voted for Carter in my early 20s. Never voted Dim Dem again . When I saw Carter pushing Monsanto seed in Africa a few years ago I was stunned . I kicked myself for not voting for Ford many times . I remember the many interviews Roslynn gave over the years in woman's magazines and she always said going back to Georgia after Jimmy became a Admiral in the Navy was not her choice. He went home to run the family business and she was loving the privileged life of Navy uppercrust. They had a interesting story and history.

@@lightmarker3146President Carter was a nuclear engineer in Admiral Rickover's nuclear submarine program. President Carter's rank was Lieutenant. I can find no record of President Carter as an Admiral. President Carter was preparing to be an engineering officer on Seawolf Submarine when his father died in Georgia. Family business was in Georgia with no leadership after his father was gone so President Carter took that responsibility instead of that of Navy nuclear submarine engineer. I am unaware of President Carter's Monsanto seed support in Africa. Thank you and I'll check it out. But maybe that's as valid as your suggestion of President Carter's Admiralty. 🇺🇸👍 I'm from Chattahoochee County and I voted FOR President Carter in 1976, my very first eligible potus voting year. My Voting regret is I failed to vote for President Carter in 1980. I chose LP Party in 1980 FOR poverty-stricken female medical care rights and legal nontoxic human essential unlimited THC, CBD, CBG, CBN etc cannabis home grow for ALL. I was young and dumb and did not understand President Carter wanted the same policies I did, but could not advertise my issues at the time because of draconian policy politics. I voted LP or Write In for potus every election 1980 to 2020. Until Dicktaster..er... I mean Dictator Trump showed me that I must refuse to support any and ALL Putin Assets or Ya'll Quaida Misogynist Theocrats 2020 potus election forward. 🇺🇸

Now there is an example of what a former president and First Lady should do in retirement as opposed to what the Clintons, for instance, have done. They have not set about to enrich themselves as a result of their former positions, but rather quietly slipped into private life. They are legend.
