A penalty box fight between Bob Pulford and Terry Harper caused the NHL to mandate separate boxes. When watching hockey as a kid I could never understand the single box and why the fights never resumed there.

I played in the ECL There were as many fights in the penalty box as there were on the ice the biggest fight I ever got was actually in the hallway going off the ice against another player who wasn’t dressed I think I ended up stepping on his foot he screamed out in pain he let me go went down to his foot I felt terrible I told her I’m so sorry he goes it’s OK I shouldn’t of done that we ended up being great friends we ran into each other in Manhattan and we’ve been blood brothers ever since
