Yes! I actually enjoyed it. It does have its problems -- mostly that ending -- but, as ever Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno deliver the goods. The relationship between David and Dr Pratt was wonderful, and, unlike too many of these types of movies, the filmmakers took the time to actually develop that relationship. True, the Russian baddies came from central casting and their involvement didn't make much sense from the start - I remember a review saying that the Hulk usually attracts better bad guys - but Andreas Katsulas always made a wonderful bad guy. I still enjoyed the film. Although I admit when the delicious Elizabeth Gracen shows up and gets romantically involved with David, I did snark at the time, "Ah, the benefits of being director and co-writer!" But she was definitely worth it, which makes the ending so much worse. They did NOT have to kill David!! Bixby was planning a fourth film where Banner and the Hulk would be resurrected, but it went nowhere, and Bixby's passing put the kibosh on it ever being produced. Very unfortunate, but I wondered whether they would have brought everyone back anyway. The movies were only tangentially linked anyway.

This movie should've been the final arc of the 3 TV Movies where the last one "Trial" should've been where McGee finally learns Banner and the Hulk are the same. David is put on trial for Elaina's death. McGee has to answer for the lab break-in and in this movie, McGee watches the Hulk transform back to David and dies then feels a remorse of the years of chasing him down. IMO

I believe Banner being caught by McGee and put on trail for the destruction of The Hulk, Banner being acquitted and cured was the original ending for the TV series, but the show was canceled so we never got it.

I hated the ending. I thought the death of the Hulk meant that David finally had a cure and became a normal person again, not him actually dying. I was shocked and disappointed.

I remember back when the film was first announced, reading about it in a Starlog magazine and in the Hulk comic book and it was also mentioned that the She-Hulk was going to make an appearance, but that didn't happen.

I saw this movie only once. I just can't get myself to watch this movie again. I just can't accept the way this ended. It was so wrong on all levels and probably the worst part is you can't hold any person accountable for this.

i have it on DVD and Fun Fact: Gracen who plays Yasmine Bixby's love interest was 27 years younger then Bixby he was 56 and Gracen was 29. may-deecember romance i guess

@@TheMJKnightI heard out there that in 1991 bill was writing the script for 4 but because his cancer progressed they left the project for a while and she hulk would appear where david had to repeat the experiment something like that

@@TheMJKnight and they also wanted to include iron man in a 5th movie if he had never died and the series was going to come back but now the hulk would be a hero since he could control him and iron man would be a robot controlled by tony stark so that he would be as realistic as possible

I always hated this movie. There’s no problem with David Banner dying for the greater good, but the stakes in this film felt too small for such an enormous sacrifice. Knowing Bill Bixby wouldn’t live much longer, I would have preferred Bixby just let the series end on a more ambiguous note that “David Banner is still out there” than such a lame death. I wish he would have been more critical of the writing. But it really isn’t Bixby’s fault, he just wanted to make a finale for a character he cared about.

He wasn’t supposed to be dead. It was purposely left open-ended. There was supposed to be a 4th movie, where he survived but was unable to change back to David. And he was going to be able to speak.

Even though the origanal Magee Jack Colvin passed away, they should have had someone else play the part to discover the Hulk didnt kill David Banner after all.

Death of The Hulk was 1990. Colvin passed away in 2005.

I hated this movie because they made hulk die, I loved the hulk tv series and it made no sense hulk dying from a fall that wasnt too high. There was an episode where banner was thrown from a plane with broken parachute and he changed as he crashed to the ground and survived. I read that this wasnt supposed be the ending of hulk. Bill bixby planned to make a sequel and possibly she hulk

The parachute was shot off of Banner just before he hit the shed transforming into the Hulk. That is a big difference than falling a long way after being blown out of a plane like they did in this movie.

Ok, I'll give the last line delivery from Jasmine in this film. But you shut your face about the rest of her acting. Gracen's line delivery is very convincing as a tortured soul who's trapped against her will.
