Remote Fishing Cape York - The Very Tip of Australia

I go in search of remote fishing locations up at the very tip of Queensland.
We have travelled 1000's of km and have been camping in the tent.

I think the best things about these videos mate Is that your kids can look back at this when they are older and inspire them to do similar adventures with their kids. And that’s such an invaluable thing to pass on, a desire for adventure. Good on you mate you’re an inspiration ✌🏼

Great vid johnny. Yeah I got the same problem when I get a parcel unfortunately my Mrs gets home before me during the week and she knows when I have bought fishing gear. 😂

Hes an SEQ fisherman. Theres plenty of Jacks in SEQ and bigger too. Only difference is winter slows the fishing down.

Not gonna lie I had a good laugh when you high stick the rod hahaha. I've done that before or slammed the door on the tips. Cracker jack they seem thick up north

Steves plastic reminds me so much of the Havoc sickfish. its in the Berkley tourno range and designed by Skeet Reese(pro bass, MLF). dont blame u for the high stick mate, booming jack.

Love the videos. Heading up north myself this weekend and just bought some Aussie-owned Rookie Hooker SPs for the trip. I reckon the 100mm Paddle Me would go great on the jacks and barra. The Oil Spill is a great colour.

Looks epic. Very jealous. Are the thought of Crocs always on your mind? Imagine one sneaking up behind you on that boat. I had close encounter with a caiman whilst in Cuba. I had no idea it was stalking me, until I spooked it right next to my Kayak.

Yes mate. Only at a distance from what I’ve seen above the water… and I’m pretty quick to move on… nothing monsterous yet but I’ve heard they’re coming so I’ll be steering clear of those systems I reckon

You should try the Wilson live fiber blades and tails 20-30lb, ive been looking for a heavy whippy rod and thats the one that stands out

Hey Bro. It’s a 24V 70lb i pilot. She’s about. 12 years old and killing it. My remotes have become a bit temperamental lately but she doesn’t miss. I’ve smashed it to bits over the years. Great stuff
