24 volt minkota seems overkill for a 3.7m tinny. A 55lb 12 volt leccy should be more than adequate. Otherwise, nice practical setup for lure fishing 👍

So many videos on KZfaq about how to hook fish but not many about how to unhook a human. This is likely to happen to all of us if we fish long enough. Unfortunately I’ve had it happen to me more times than I would like to remember. The worst time being four of the nine barbs from a 7 inch Rapala. The air was blue that night. If you have someone with you it can be much easier to deal with. I always try to take the hook off the lure and use the quick pull out method. It’s a good reminder to carry cutters and a first aid kit with you in the boat.
