Video 1 began this series with a discussion on problems caused by the immigration court overload, too many cases for judges to handle.
In this video, we go over the importance of the Notice To Appear, or NTA as called by many judges and lawyers. It is only a simple two-page document.
The size of the NTA is deceiving. As noted above, the immigration Notice To Appear starts removal proceedings. No deportation defense guide is complete without an understanding of six key points about the immigration NTA.
In particular, you need to closely review how the government alleges you entered the United States and why they are seeking to deport you. Sometimes their facts are incorrect. This can lead to charges against you, that, in fact, do not apply to your case.
This video outlines what you should look out for, to ensure your best chance for winning your deportation defense case is laid out for the immigration judge to review.
