I’ve considered this as I have 6 pens of 12.5mg and I am now on maintenance at 5mg. When I was lowered from 12.5 to 5 my insurance wouldn’t cover the 5mg until my next refill was due. I was losing too much weight on 12.5 so it was medically necessary to titrate down. Long story short my Dr had to give me some of their samples to get me through until my next refill was due. I understand that insurance companies don’t want to keep paying and are limiting what they will pay for but when it’s medically necessary they should allow it. I am sure my Dr could have jumped thru the ins hoops but I don’t blame them for not wanting to. Kevin is great by the way! Thanks for the video!

This is such a touchy subject. Lets say I used bactrostatic water and injected the medication into a vial. Try 1: The medication amount is 15 mounjaro 0.5 mixed with 0.5 water. For me the extra air and water in the vial hurt the medication a little. This is my experience/example only. Try 2: block off the end of a syringe and inject it in the back then have to get the plunger back in the back without pressure that would make the medication squirt out. Now I am feeling like a crazy person. Funny thing is sometimes its not 0.5 its 0.45 and or foam. Its a fight to keep it clean and active. For myself the best was all 4 pens in one dark tan vial with little to no air left and no bactrostatic water. Its scary and nuts.

Sounds like these big pharma companies need to ...... release the vials or something like Canada and Australia.

Hey Allie. Perhaps you covered this in a previous video, but I just heard about this recently. There are folks out there who are purchasing the tirzepatide active ingredient online and mixing their own medication at home, using the bac water and syringes. To me, this seems even more dangerous. Why won’t they just use the compounds?
