Amazing. I was worried after the first pass but as soon as you lowered that opacity to make it more natural it looked fantastic

You are welcome Paul. Frequency separation really is a great tool. I use it very often. Affinity Photo makes it much easier than in Photoshop.

Excellent, thanks! Appreciate the lack of verbiage and the use of repeating before/after examples. Especially good for us of slow eyes and mind. Throwing in the low opacity brush tool is neat.

Hi, thank you for this. At the beginning you mentioned that FS is your favorite method to get rid of shadows and wrinkles. Which other methods can you think of and do you think it worthwhile to do a tutorial on them?

Some of the other methods include Patching, highlighting, inpainting and cloning. I'm sure I will cover more of them in the future.

In this video I use frequency separation to remove shadows under eyes.

Another great tutorial Scott, If I could ask, with the patch tool the arrow keys enlarge and rotate the sample do any keys flip the sample of the patch tool?

Thank you Graham. I don't think there is a way to flip a patch. I've checked the help files and can't see anything. That would be a useful option.

I keep having an issue where the paint brush is selected but nothing happens on the photo as i brush along. Anyone have any ideas? i'm sure i'm missing something
