Great demo, Bob. Thanks. I have a question about shadowing as well. I have a photo where the subject has a shadow casted over the eyes which is very dark resulting in unrecognizable eyes. How can I remove the shadowing and repair the eyes on the subject? I appreciate the tips given throughout your demo (keyboard shortcuts, etc).

Ver new to PE so this will likely be received as a pretty dumb question, but what do you do once you perform all those photo manipulations to keep that new image intact? I try saving the images I practice on and they always revert to my original image.

Bob: Enjoyed the video. But I have followed your instructions step-by-step exactly and whenever I get to clicking on the mask layer and then trying to use the Color Replacement Tool, I get a message "Could not use the Color Replacement tool because it only works in full color modes." However, the image mode is correctly set to RGB Color. This happens with any picture I use. Help?

Hello Bob, Thank you for the shadow tutorial. I have done exactly as you have show but I am obviously doing something wrong because it is not working. When I select my Clone stamp and go to the photo and alt click a whole blue layer goes over the photo. I'm getting so frustrated and have gone over your tutorial four times now and have written everything down. Please help.

Hi Bob, everything worked great until I got to the point where I need to use the brush. It's simply painting in black on the picture instead or 'erasing' the layer... What am I doing wrong?

I am trying to remove a shadow behind a wine bottle that is being cast onto a wine barrel. I am following your instruction to a T, but I cannot get the clone stamp to clone the light part of the barrel. Even though I am stamping a light area of the barrel, when I start painting the shadow, it keeps painting dark. It also starts to show a clone of the bottle and I am not cloning the bottle. I do have several layers already bc I have been editing in other ways as well. What am I doing wrong?
