Hi. I take it this is required after changing the filter. I have had issues changing the filter on my 1.6 even after using VCDS to prime the pump. Air seems to get trapped in the high pressure side.

hello air is trapped after changing fuel filter. My car wont start (golf 6 2010). These cars dont got a bleed screw? I have to disconnect that same one you showing in the video?

What did you do here? Mk6 tdi airlocked after changing the fuel filter

Did you manage to sort it?

the way i do it: fill the filter housing with diesel, put the new filter in it and let it soak up the diesel. after that fill the housing to the top and just push the lit on.. make shure you put a rag underneath it because acces diesel will spill out.. started directly without any problems, no VCDS needed

Mine did too. Was my first fuel filter change on a tdi so I think I screwed up a bunch. I ended up pulling a vacuum on the HP line to get the air out. I did it using a combination of pulling a vacuum with an oil extractor and using my scan tool to run a priming cycle. Beware though, almost 5 litres comes out from a priming cycle.
