They make a body plug that does sit a bit lower. And yes much better!!!

Try some googone for the adhesive. We used it when we were taking letters off of one of our fire trucks. Put it on a rag and scrub scrub scrub

Nice! I got a question that is unrelated tho this truck but do you know where the engine block drain plug is for flushing the coolant on the Jeep Liberty with 3.7l? I need to flush my coolant but can't find the block drain plug to drain it. I saw a diagram but that didn't help at all, got me more confused instead.

That is a good question, unfortunately I don't know the answer to that one. I've only flushed out the heater core.

@@RockyXTV Dang. I really would like to do a full flush but I know that 50% of the coolant will stay in the engine block. At this point I am considering taking it to the dealers since I have heard they use a tool that completely flush the system.

Been wanting to put marker lights on my KJ so bad but been advised by several people not to do it. Seems to me small holes and good weatherproofing can prevent problems down the road, not a super complicated job. Can this be done right and last or is it just a terrible idea?

It can be done, you just need to be sure you do a few things right the first time. 1. Use quality lights, you don't want to have to replace these things over and over again as this will start your leak. Quality lights will also typically come with more/better seals/gaskets. 2. Use paint and sealant. Paint around any holes you drill as they will start to rust and cause your seal to leak. Use a good sealant around the holes inside and out if possible. I've also seen people "glue" the light gaskets to the vehicle with sealant. 3. The lights NEED to be mounted on a flat section of the roof for a good seal (unless you have vehicle specific lights that match the contour of the roof) It may sound like a lot, but it just boils down to doing it right the first time and not having to go back and re-seal AFTER you have a leak. You also need to be sure you are committed to having these lights because if you change your mind, you're stuck with a bunch of hole in your roof like I am... I didn't put them on though, I just get to fix it. Thanks for watching and good luck!

I don't have them anymore. You can get a brand new set on Amazon or Ebay for like 15$, I wouldn't even bother with trying to get them used. Thanks for watching Trav!
