Removing Citristrip

Let’s remove some Citristrip! I applied it yesterday and covered it with plastic wrap to sit overnight. Check out the process!

I'd recommend cutting up a garbage bag instead of using clear wrap. Cheaper.

I left it over night and it was like glue it was horrible took me 2 days to finally get the top ready for sanding. I will never do it again...

Mineral spirits work great to break down the wax in citristrip

i really appreciate the attention to detail, and how well this seems to work. had to watch it muted with captions though - that 'music' is absolutely irritating.

How do I get the hard to reach places? I can’t get this dang 3 layers of latex paint off and it’s just gummy and balling up! I want to cry bc I can’t get this paint off

All of it won't come off in one pass. Get as much as you can and reapply. Then use her method of the alcohol or mineral spirits.
