I would rephrase the part about not allowing others to dictate your emotions. Others NEVER dictate your emotions, becasue ONLY you choose what you feel, and are responsibile for that and for making any changes or growth necessary to overcome. So saying that others can dictate your feelings is abdicating not only your own abilities, but your personal responsibility as well. It becomes really easy to say, oh I lost my temper because this person did or said this, next thing you know "someone else" is reponsible for how you think, feel, or react- especially when it is on the negative side.

I went to hell, then heaven then I was taken to my own personal hell which I in-part created but others also put me there. The Holy Spirit healed me and downloaded power from heaven into my physical earth body for 3 days and nights. It was also a form of contrition. So, Tolle....👍 While reading or listening to "A new earth" you will learn how to explore the ego and the unstoppable inner dialog we have and how to see what it really is: not your true you. But what you are always told to be from the very beginning on until today. And what it tells you to do and to harm other people to appear better. To hate because you got hate in the past. And all about this hidden devil we all carry inside. And then you find out that it is a tiger without teeth. A gun without a bullet. It is just a dialog made of fear. While discovering this it is getting easier and easier to surprise the ego while acting and so it becomes more and more harmless. You were a victim and to realize how a ego works in your mind helps you out of this state of being a victim. Being in love as a victim is hard work because you have to carry these old feelings and thoughts and you always put a lot of energy on it not to become the same but being aware of being something different. Your parents and all the people hurting you are victims, too! They have gone through a hell, too. That's the way how they became this bad. But not everybody has a wisdom in the heart like you to fight for light to come out of this one day and to be free. Some of them start being monsters even in school. Some of them fight but fail one day and everything breaks out of them. So don't hate them, please. Because YOU feel the hate. It is IN YOU then. Not in these people. There is the point between victim and monster! Think about what they have gone through and how poor they were in their abilities to fight their hells. They have been beautiful, sweet babies and they have been destroyed. When you see this the monster loses its teeth. Don't judge them even if it's hard. It's for your own freedom. All feelings you feel build your inner world. The brighter it is because of your feelings the stronger you become! And feelings follow thoughts. Look at your parents and you can see this chain very well. So your mind surely sometimes is loud or painful and missing so much energy and feels sometimes dark. In this state meditation sometimes is so hard because the mind keeps on talking. To pull the mask off it makes it easier to look behind the hole story you have gone through. The reason is: while discovering YOUR ego you discover the egos of all the people hurting you. To see their fears makes them less mighty over your life and soul. To see that adult persons act rude just not to show that they are not really adult, maybe weak and helpless, gives you a new position in your life! You can can be aware of these facts and feel for them and forgive them and be in love. From one soul to another. You are not a victim anymore because you left their playground of egos. And these exercises to go back to the point of pain and assist youself as a child and make it strong in this moment and protect it and maybe embrace it and enncourage youself to be a brave and selfish child full of light and power helps you so much! There are vids here to integrate your "shadows" or to work with your inner child to help you keeping focused on your goal and not to suffer on what your mind is telling you about your terrible past. Thoughts are like water or hikers: always talking the easiest and shortest way through! So when you think sad thoughts very often it is so simple for your brain to come to a sad state. But so much harder to come to a peaceful and joyful state. So, when you have a painful moment then stop it when your brain starts the rollercoaster so that it is not efficient anymore to follow this thought, then watch something like this video. Or something funny. When you think a bad, sad, fearful or hateful thought then condition yourself to let it follow four good thoughts. Not important what quality. Sage, crystals, dreamcatchers, tarot cards..clothing and items attached to a tramstic event..they all are openings for these entities. I never believed it until a pastor had me get rid of my uncle's Harley jacket( he recently committed suicide, and all the other items I listed. A dress I wore to my boyfriend's funeral, and some beautiful dream catchers n crystals n sage I had gotten as a gift. See u don't hv any idea of the intentions of the person who sold or prepares the crystals and items like that. The items attached to a tramstic event lowers ur vibration and maybe ur just sad for a day etc..but it opens the door. Oh and I took down my mirrors. I had like 4 in the home..not knowing that's also a gateway. I can't say which or if all made the difference but my life did a 360. But on my life true story, the body scratches I woke up with them for about 4 days were on my walls. Looked like someone drug Freddie Kruger out of my house kicking n screaming.. it was intense but I kept this and Dr virtual s sound therapy going and like I said changed my life bc I was so scared n over it that I was done ready to check out . But was shown a path w a light at the end of the tunnel. I believe it was some divine intervention bc I did not attend church. I met the pastor at at a friend's cookout.
