It pretty quick and easy ,on the drivers side remove the hose at the turbo, also a short piece of tubieing that will slip over the plug makes it easy to remove or install your plugs , I just gaped mine per the inst. for the tuner I got from you guys ( thanks for good deal) took less than an hour all in all pretty simple about 10 mins to remove the intercooler

A piece of rubber hose works great on spark plugs to thread in n out, .Doug is great on the camera, , milwakiee makes a great ratchet that fits tight spots for getting hose clamps loose , the m12 series work great for this

I thought most of the iridium plugs are not supposed to be field gapped? I’m sure EVO knows what they are talking about but I always leave the iridium plugs gapped as they come and never had a problem
@SXSBlog6 жыл бұрын
It's mostly just to prevent people from fucking up the iridium as noted in the video. Personally I don't know for sure IF they need to be gapped but Evo has 2000+ dyno runs and infinite miles of testing so I trust them.
@prorider69976 жыл бұрын
So why didn't properly Gap the spark plugs per evos instructions in the first place?

Just got a x3 and y in gods name are they so much loader then a razer or is it just me. Got any ways to make it so I can hear my radio again lol
@SXSBlog6 жыл бұрын
All of the sound is coming from the clutch intake behind the drivers seat. Just get some thick ass foam and shove it in there. There's SEVERAL intake spots for the cvt and it's honestly super unnecessary to even have it there. Doug's brother has been running that way since nearly day 1.
@sxsmarine40756 жыл бұрын
SXSBlog.com thanks I’ll try anything. Today was my first ride. the 2018 xds is amazing over my old rzr turbo. I think the x3 is alittle rougher ride on a slow ride with mom mushroom hunting but I feel so much more stable and not so damn champed up in the cab. I’m happy with it
@SXSBlog6 жыл бұрын
Awesome! A lot can be gained by setting up the suspension to the Fox "Race tune" which essentially just raises ride height. It allows the suspension to function in the top end of the valving which is softer than the lower end.

@SXSBlog6 жыл бұрын
Have you seen how hard it is on a rzr?
@KnownSender16 жыл бұрын
I call polairs they said that it had life time spark plugs and they automatically gap themselves and the latch in the bed is difficult to open so I don't have to worry about that lol😂😂😎
@stacyreid50776 жыл бұрын
Yup someone's gonna do it and if it's the dealership you come home broke. Lol. Now a question the X3 was gapped wrong from factory or are y'all regapping it for extra power?? PS did y'all find the 10mm
@SXSBlog6 жыл бұрын
Regapping per Evos recommendations for the tune
@stacyreid50776 жыл бұрын
SXSBlog.com thank you the reply I totally forgot about the tune and exhaust. Y'all were getting it at the dunes awesome job on the videos I love it when you put Doug behind the camera while y'all are in the shop Y'all play around so much as you work it's great. The spark plug gap totally makes sense to me. I have to run a .020 gap on my plugs for Z1 wildcat. when I run higher boost levels, the turbo will blow out the spark.

@philipfoster3736 жыл бұрын
You think it’s on the same cylinder every time if so it could be a coil going bad
