In this video the Revolution Pipe Relining team are removing multiple Reo Bars (reinforcing steel bars or Rebar) from a stormwater pipe with a robotic cutter and then installing sectional patch relining to seal up the holes. A robotic cutter is a pipe relining tool that enables us to remove solid items from drainage pipes without excavation. We can remove reo bars, concrete, timber stakes, star pickets, squashed pipe and thick tree roots to name a few.
On the particular job in this video, a concreter drilled and pushed reo bars through the stormwater pipe, as this was a hydrostatic slab, the builder had no choice but to have them removed and repaired without excavation.
