I keep hearing that it’s cheaper than digging, but when I call plumbers in the area who offer Relining, they all say it’s about the same cost. What gives?
@revolutionpiperelining5055
@revolutionpiperelining5055 Жыл бұрын
It really depends on what is above the pipes and the depth of the pipe. Eg if the pipe are running below a nicely landscaped garden, below a building or a nice driveway, the restoration costs will more than likely make pipe replacement more expensive. In some situations excavation is cheaper, but in many situations, pipe relining is cheaper and visually a much better end result as there are no excavation scars.

I don't get it why did you reline the pipe?
@revolutionpiperelining5055
@revolutionpiperelining5055 Жыл бұрын
There were multiple cracks caused by ground movement, tree roots were getting into the cracks and blocking the drain annually. It's hard to see at the drains had been cleared and sanded in preparation for pipe relining. There is a clear break at the 18 second mark.

@revolutionpiperelining5055

Its very easy, 99% of the time the liner bulges into the junction. Sometimes we mark the junctions on the camera just to be sure.

We just roll it back out with the inversion drum. Generally, it's pretty easy unless there is a lot of head pressure.

We are repairing leaking stormwater pipes with a process called pipe Relining. We have a new machine the cures the resin with UV light in seconds instead of hours in comparison to traditional Pipe Relining techniques.
@altameemiahmed4087

The UV device is very fast. After lining the tube, the light is pushed to the other and pulled, so you get the lining dry quickly. New technology

@darrellyoung9390

You don’t get a lot of time at 100 deg f probably only 15 to 20 min but when it’s that hot we cool the resin and work in our air conditioned truck to extend our working time.

Why are you lining a brand new piece of pvc
@revolutionpiperelining5055
@revolutionpiperelining5055 Жыл бұрын
We attach a short piece of PVC pipe to the earthenware pipe with a plumb quick which is a flexible rubber connection. We start Relining from the PVC and cover the rubber connection to ensure tree roots do not go through this point at a later date. It’s a much better job for the customer 👍🏼

How did the line not wrinkle when the cal tube sucked it back in some
@revolutionpiperelining5055
@revolutionpiperelining5055 2 жыл бұрын
This is because it's a 3D liner, it sucks back with shrinkage as it expands to the 150mm pipe size.

Hey looks like you taped on preliner to the bottom of that cone. Is that prevent resin from impregnating the first section of liner that will not be on the pipe?
@revolutionpiperelining5055
@revolutionpiperelining5055 2 жыл бұрын
Hey mate, it's just a small piece of packer plastic. But yes correct, it was used to prevent the first section of liner from being impregnated. Sometimes we use this technique, other times we just roll back the liner to where we want the resin to start. Thanks for watching!

It looks like you were putting the lining in the same place. Was the first attempt with the small chamber unsuccessful?
@revolutionpiperelining5055
@revolutionpiperelining5055 2 жыл бұрын
The small chamber was used to insert the liner, the big blue inversion drum was used to insert the calibration tube. The calibration tube is sent through the liner, expanded under air pressure and then filled with hot water and circulated until the resin goes off. It can all be done from the same machine, however, having multiple tools that do the same job speeds up the process.
