Just a quick video on how to remove your cone style Massey wheels, complete with some laughs and fun!

You can also get "bottoming" taps , they don't have the tapered end . Or thread chasers , they actually come in a kit for freshening up bolts or blind tappings . Been a blast going back through your vids . Fluffy is just the best , LOL . Thanks Jt , as usual entertaining as hell and very informative !

Really like your videos on these old Masseys. Would've been handy a couple years ago when I swapped from 34s to 38s. Broke a bolt because I didn't clean the threads, luckily I was able to get it off with a port-a-power. Paid a machine shop good money to handle the broken bolt. The next Massey got the threads chased with a tap and that's how I'll do it from now on. Anyway, I'm glad to find a channel about the best tractors ever made, keep on keeping on and I'll keep watching.

Was so interested in this that I didn't realize until three quarters way through that Fluffy hadn't stopped in to supervise. 😳 So relieved when she showed up at the very end! Have a happy Christmas Joe! Give Fluffy a Christmas hug from me!

Well JT, Merry Christmas, and have a very happy new year, from north or the border. In response to questioning how you ended up there today, what was the chances it involved some Christmas cheer thinking juice? (My best decisions were helped by Jose Cuervo.) Changing tractor tires sucks. Period. But, we still do it, cuz, nobody else is gonna do it for free. Next, when you pulled the first two bolts out, I couldn't help but wonder is Fluffy was off screen trying to catch them!

JT, you may have answered my question with this video. I’m re-mounting rear rims on my Massey Fergusen 282. I took them off to paint them. I think I will have to remove the wheel weights to put them back on. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you for your video.

I usually put the cast center on first, then the tire. It doesn’t have to be done that way, but in this case it was easier. I did the tires and centers on my 165 in one piece, you just have to go slow and be careful. If that comes down on you that’s game over 😳

They are going on the 1100, she’s getting 18.4-38 tires this winter as the 34 inch wheels on it are chloride rusted . Then I’ll have the same size tires on both tractors, makes it easier to keep a spare around if one size fits all 😉
