It was indeed a budget cut. It’s particularly jarring in the queue when Gustau is speaking in French for minutes at a time where comprehension is lost on every guest given the attraction is in America. On the ride itself it’s not too bad

I agree, because the French is very basic, so English speaking guests aren't really missing anything. It's a good chance to learn. On the other hand, I suppose that if you've never been exposed to French you wouldn't know that it's basic and you'd wonder what you're missing.

I speak French so it didn't bother me in Paris so it won't at epcot lol

The Ride itself looks a lot that we had here in Disneyland Paris 🟦⬜🟥🇫🇷. Even the Ratatouille land

Aaaaand they got you. Not only wanting to go, complaining but still riding the attractions (or even better : going and not riding stuff!).. but more importantly, splurging on the food.

@@Big_Dai nobody “got me.” Our family was scheduled to go in April 2020 and we’ve pushed to April 2022 because there are people in our family unable to wear masks. The trip has been paid for since the summer of 2019 bc we used Disney gift cards purchased through Target. Also, it’s normal to like certain kinds of rides more than others- having a ride style preference is not complaining. I enjoy it all. And heck yes I’ll be buying some good food. I’m a huge foodie and my favorite part of vacation is the dining. That holds true no matter what trip I go on. Not happy along with everyone else about all the nickel and diming, but this will be my kids’ first trips (they were given this as their 2019 Christmas present) so we are going to make it special…they have been waiting a looong time to go!

Yes, the motion sickness is terrible on this ride! I would avoid if you have issue tbh, it's probably the worst I've been on for motion sickness.

I have heard that the motion sickness isn’t bad. Guess we won’t know until more people do the ride. When were you on maisie?

It doesn't make sense to me on this ride. The vehicle is fairly small, just like fantasy land rides where there is no single rider.

@@mushieslushie The ride vehicle seats 6 in Paris, same as the Test Track ones. They're much bigger than the Fantasyland vehicles. They use single rider for this there.

It’s very soft really. But enough to be immersed in the screens. The attraction has not height restrictions.

I rode the Paris version and MAJOR motion sickness trigger! I get motion sickness quite easily and was as queasy as expected - but my friend is normally rock solid and she felt very discombobulated after. It's probably level with Star Tours? But because of the mix of screens, motion simulator car movements, and real props, real movement and spins - you try to orient yourself constantly to reality only to lose it again. It was really hard work - and such a shame because it's super cute, and really well themed! I just can't imagine wanting to eat a delicious crepe afterwards!
