Ren has just handed a cheque for £21,000 to the Lifeboat station that went out for days looking for his friend Joe's body. He also popped in to Joe's parents house and gave them a cheque for £8,500 so they could buy a camper van and go travelling around the uk.

I think one of the most impactful things about Ren is that him showing us his fragility and humanity helps in a way to encourage people to show their fragility inhumanity to each other and perhaps we can build America back this way by coming back together as communities again and caring about each other instead of caring about necklaces and booty calls which is what the music industry seems to be all about nowadays. Ren brings intelligence not just in his lyrical ability but in his emotional emotive abilities too

If you watch the Knox interview Ren intellectually and logically knows there wasn’t anything he could have done that night but emotionally is another thing… the empty cup. But notice there is a bottle of light (lights) to fill the empty cup. The previous produced video was dark and filled with pain and frustration. This starts with that pain but continues with what Joe and all his actions has taught and given Ren. That bottle of light to fill the empty cup. Not only a crafted masterpiece but preformed extremely well with the help from Sam.

Hey, Hey, Hay! Congrats on 20+K This one hits hard because of all the Friends and family I've lost as well as the brothers I've served with that have taken their own lives. And the everyday battle withing my own head to stick around on this earth hoping for something better. About now my band is the only thing keeping me from saying peace out. If we weren't gaining traction and having some of the biggest hardcore bands backing us and Joe Duplantier of Gojira wanting us to record at his studio in Brooklyn and produce our album I would've been like, later suckers lol. I have good days and bad days, some even worse than worse days. But I'm also a Taurus and Irish so I'm too stubborn to give up on life I guess lol But Ren is back in the UK for a month doing more filming and yesterday was in his hometown back in Whales and gave a check that was originally 14,000 British pounds to the volunteer organization that was out immediately looking for Joe after he jumped and kept looking for him for days. The money was raised by us fans from a fundraiser Ren set up. But he ended up giving the proceeds from his album "Freckled Angel's" Which he wrote and sung at Joe's memorial when he passed. But the album sales from his recent release of the CD ballooned it to 21,000 pounds. Then he met with Joe's parents for the first time in 12 years and gave them 8,600 pounds also from the money made from the song. He played them this song, For Joe, said they all cried and hugged. His parents were besides themselves because they've been saving up for a camper van they wanted to name Joe and travel all over the UK and with that money they can finally afford it. He posted news clips from his visit and also bugged people out because in one news interview he was speaking Welsh and people were so confused lol
