Ever since I found Ren since the premiere of Hi Ren I've made great strides in my mental health. The man gave me a way to look differently upon myself and my past struggles. It's because of him I truly understand what it the phrase "It's ok to not be ok." means. The man truly saved my life. I'm glad he's able to help people this way because pills and therapy were not it for me.

I really want to know what makeup products you use because you consistently still look fabulous even crying! I would look like a racoon as soon as a single tear fell! 41 yr old blue collar worker. Much of Rens work is cathartic and every time I watch Im bound to tear up. Some of the most unexpected (to me) reactors have become my favorite Ren reactors because we can all see that his music truly speaks to you as it does us. After all, none of us want to be alone with these kinds of emotions. I suggest Crutch by Ren ft Bibi. but be prepared, it seems to be a very tough time in Ren's life, capturing the desperation in his spiral down his misdiagnosed path.

This reaction made me want to hug you. And I can tell that those songs are helping you open up a little bit more and more. They are really cathartic and help us all cope with our own struggles. Ren did it for me many times now and was able to channel my bottled up feelings from the inside once again, let them all out. It was wonderful to be able to do that again and no pill and no therapist could have done that better. It is about facing your own struggles and not constantly just running away from them, because they always will get to you eventually. So facing them head on, go through it and get healthier in the process is so vital for our own evolution as a person. Long story short: Once again I am grateful that you let us be a part of your emotional world, it is not taken for granted, it never should be.

It’s so beautiful to see someone so raw on KZfaq. Many hide their emotions cos they don’t want to be judged, but seeing you really feel the music and allowing it to come out in your tears is a beautiful thing to see. I’m not saying I enjoy seeing people cry, that’s not what I’m saying at all. I’m saying it’s nice to see someone real. Amazing reaction Ash just like you said music is way to express ourselves and its like a virtual hug. When Ren says "little by little bit by bit I push it back down with a new habit..." it always reminds me that I used to push everything I had going in life and in my head by creating a new habit or addiction i uses to smoke a lot of cigarettes and vapes. Then I moved on to alcohol and that's when everything got worse because it's a bad habit a bad addiction. I actually found out from my grandparents that addictions run in my family. Even when I stop all of it and I fight it off. I somehow end up drinking or smoking again. I keep pushing it down with a new habit.

Huge hugs from here in the UK. Ren touches so many of us, especially those of us living with mental health issues. It's ok to cry. I do it a lot. I do it every time I hear one of Ren's songs. It shows we are in touch with our emotions. It shows we do care, especially about what matters. It's ok to take that medication to help us. If you cut your finger, you put a plaster on it. So think of those tablets as a bandaid for the mind. You are strong. You are a good person. This is sent with love and hugs 🥰x

Im not ok.... I havent been for a long time. I struggle on a daily basis with my inadedquasies, my doubts, my 'black dog days'..... And much as i knew i wasnt alone, that others struggled it didnt hit home until the last month or so since i discovered Rens art. Yes, theres been artists write songs about their inner struggles, but none with the power that Ren does. "Chalk outlines" is one amazing piece of art. From the very moment he starts singing, i well up Because i know that feeling of waking up, hoping against hope that i am a differant person, that for one day i can be someone other than the car wreck i am daily. Ive taken a wde selection of meds to keep me afloat, and other 'drugs' that arent prescribed to put that smile on my face. And when Chinchilla starts to sing, the floodgates open. Its such a beautiful somg about the saddest of subjects, but everytime i hear it, which has become a daily thing, after the tears have finished and ive caught my breath i feel a little better prepared to face the world.

Words are just one way to express yourself there are many others. Your facial expressions when I have seen you watch Ren's videos clearly express your feelings etc without the need for words. You remind me so much of my friends out here in the New York hardcore, metal and punk scene. A beautiful human with a heart of gold that isn't afraid to be who you are and show us your vulnerable side. I can only speak for myself when I say that's what drew me in to you and your channel and I truly respect and appreciate you for being real, open and honest. It's so easy to fake being happy and edit out your tears and keep your struggles to yourself. Nothing in the universe is perfect. Perfection just doesn't exist. That includes you and me and the rest of humanity. It's our imperfections who make us who we are. So you're perfectly imperfect! We're all trying to figure out this existence we were thrown into without our permission on a spinning ball of mud that's floating through space. There's been so many times my PTSD from the trauma of being an 8 year old boy and nearly being raped in fvxking Disney World of all places and the trauma of my time in the military and my wife dying that I have nearly given up. But for some reason I'm still here. I'm trying to figure out why but here I am too stubborn to end it but struggling to make it. If it wasn't for my band and all the shows we play, and my brothers who have been there with me through it all I would have most definitely eaten a bullet by now. Plus I'm Irish and a Taurus so im too stubborn to give up lol. So seriously thank you for being you, being real, and showing others that they're not alone and that we all struggle. P.S. I was on Paxil years ago and I had to get off it. Gave me serious brain zaps and made me more suicidal than I already was.

Take heart from the fact that there is so much beauty in the world to be uncovered in art , in literature, in music, in travel as well as in friends and family. We cannot all have an abundance in every category but we can all access some of it to help us through the tough days. And believe me whatever it looks like on instagram EVERYBODY has those tough days! REN brings some of that beauty to us and yeah some music can be a virtual hug when there is no one around to provide a physical one. Ren is therapeutic on some of his songs, it relates and lets you reflect and also hits in unaspeakable ways that it moves something. On other songs he brings vibe and lyrics( Power,Genesis,What u want) , and in yet even others he goes ballistic on you(Losing it, The hunger, illest of our time). A special person with a gift, passion and way to create beautiful music and connect to ppl. Also he has quite the back catalouge. NIce reaction and i feel you, chronicly depressed myself and yeah the ren x chinchilla songs hit diff then especially.

I have many of the same health issues as Ren so I relate to so much of what he does. This is one of my favorite ones. I’m new to really watching KZfaq and reaction videos but I’ve enjoyed it because I feel less alone in the way I relate to music and use it to get through bad health days, either physical or mental. I saw in this video you said at the beginning you appreciate having 7,000 subscribers and now I think you’re over 20,000 (plus 1 more….me). I usually watch 3 reactions before hitting the sub button but I hit yours in 2. I like “real” people and real reactions and not the ones going for numbers and all of that. I appreciate your videos I’ve seen so far and look forward to more as I go deeper into music reactions. I have anxiety, bipolar, autism, and a crap load of autoimmune/other diseases that also affect my brain. You look beautiful, a woman showing her emotions is powerful. Many of us cry at Ren’s songs, and many other songs. It’s a fantastic way to release our emotions we’ve been holding on to too tight.
