I always find it tragic that he always miss his "one chance in a lifetime" with her everytime he decides to leave to pursue a different girl, giving way for her to find another love whom she'll stick till the end. She always was his "the one that got away" but in every life (every adaptation) he keeps making the same mistake that made him lose her... it was just so tragic that even if he successfully became her soulmate in one life (only in BOF bc it was the only one that made him the real mc and toned down Jun Pyo lol) that small mistake that remained still made her go away. I'm Asi/ShanCai, Tsukasa/Tsukushi, and Thyme/Gorya (I only care for SoEul & JaeKyung/Jihoo in BOF lol, Jan Di doesn't deserve Jihoo imo, and Jun Pyo was hardly developed), but Ren and his other counterparts will always be my favorite character. I really feel bad for him... There's just that gentleness, and sacrifice he did for the sake of those he loves hits different. You can't not love him in every version there is. It actually breaks my heart we didn't see Ren play the violin lol. Dew did an excellent job as Ren. That's why i liked Ren more than Thyme in this drama. Ren's character is more realistic than thyme's. We may find many 'Ren' but you know 'bad boy turned good' version of boys(eg: thyme) are only a few.

Frankly, in my eyes, Ren was not a character that could be with Gorya, their timing was already wrong. The person who takes others into their hearts has already given up on the previous ones. Ren loved Gorya afterwards, but it was too late because when Gorya let him go for his wellbeing, they could no longer end well. In the end, I will say that they were not the right person for each other. Gorya would probably be happy with him, but the relationship she would have with Thyme was more right for Gorya than for Ren, because that's the way the heart is. What matters is not the suitability of that person for you, but how you feel with them. Ren could have taken her along the streets of Paris in a peaceful sunset, hand in hand, but Thyme gave her a rollercoaster experience that she had never felt before and could never feel again. The reason Gorya may have had feelings for Ren was because out of the 4 he treated her with respect. As time went by Thyme began to soften, especially, after the accidental kiss ( which in Thyme’s mind wasn’t an accidental). Then as the side of him began to show that was vulnerable, Gorya realized he needed her. It was a great shoe. I’ve watched the F4 version from a variety of Asian countries. All good. I think I saw advertised there was going to be a version from the Philippines, however, I can’t find it. Anyone know if it was made, and if so, how I can watch it?
