​@@ValerieKerr11Which rumour are you referring to? Ren is about to start a course of anti biotics for the next 4 months, which has a high chance of making him feel pretty ill. And as for his drug taking history, it is quite obvious in some of his songs - just look at Power.

@@ValerieKerr11 hello, dear. my information is from interviews with ren and my best recollections of what he has said. i adore ren, he has brought this old woman much comfort in my pain. perhaps those interviews are still available. also, i believe ren is very transparent in his lyrics and his life. that is one of the things that make people take ren into their hearts, because we can relate. life long mental/physical pain recognizes its' own. much love, dear kathleen bts renegade♥

I think Ren did dabble a little, but nothing crazy. Certainly wasn't a case of being an addict. He's been ill for half his life, during which he was misdiagnosed several times and put on medication he shouldn't have been put on. (Nearly every one of his tracks was written before Hi Ren as a form of therapy. Hi Ren was meant as a kind of legacy track; he thought he was going to die when he wrote it and wanted to leave something he was truly proud of behind.) Sorry if this comment sounds preachy!
