I must say, when someone gets to the end and says “no, fuck you” it’s kind of my favorite 🤣 Ps please make sure to add The Big Push to your list of Ren. Those videos are on The Big Push channel, but they are all in Rens rock star bag and it’s mostly singing. Thanks for reacting to this. For me, the reason this story is important is that it shows Ren's empathy to the human condition which he has developed from his hardship. It shows Ren's genius as a story teller and shows his compassion (he composed a musical tragic story to honor the memory of people whose lives are tragically ended). I believe he points out in his "Eden" video how our current system is lacking and that mankind should exercise their gift of Free Will and turn this hell on earth into a better place.

Jenny was 14 like screech... she wore high heels street walking and had rosy cheeks(heavy makeup). Screech said to Jenny, "You don't know me" Separated at birth. 2005, their year of birth. Pure genius.

Ren is a modern day bard painting such vivid imagery with his storytelling that it sucks you in and forces you to keep watching - even when it gets physically uncomfortable during Violet’s Tale. And he uses his ability to shed light on far too real issues in the world 😢 This might be my favourite reaction to this ever. Amazing reaction. So glad you spent the time to rewatch it before breaking it down. Once you know the end - how, in London 2-0-0-5, a young woman died by violence leaving her newborn twins orphaned (if Stevie's the bio father, he's hopefully in jail - or if Violet's biological father got her pregnant - and that's why she moved out at 16 - he's not fessing up) -> kids went into the system and got split up -> neither of these 14-year-olds were living a good life (in present day 2019). None of them ever had a chance. Once you realize Jenny was 14, you can theorize she was an underage prostitute dressed to look older during a second listen. Ren makes us have more empathy for Screech, too. He was troubled, went too far, got scared and put up the tough front that got him killed. Usually, it's kids from unsafe/insecure/traumatic backgrounds that react that way. And to think that they were Violet's miracle. She held on for her baby - not even knowing there were 2 - and yet they died just 14 years later. Having the twins be born and die on the same days when they didn’t even knoweach other is some Shakespeare level tragedy. Ren's the Bard 2.0 😊

On top of being a hugely poignant story told in a compelling narrative and delivered with all kinds of bars--notice each of them are one-shot takes, and you can see him do some deliberate movements to take advantage of his surroundings (Violet is brilliant in this, tho I think the seagulls of Brighton in the distance when Violet goes silent was just massive luck) for the acoustics. Him wandering the streets doing these live is also tremendous. It’s a unique art form.

The way he portrays those characters they seem like adults. Also, my feeling on this story is that Violet's father was Jenny and Screech's father not Stevie. It sounds like he may have been much older than Violet.

Ren released Jenny’s Tale in February 2019 and Screech’s Tale in September 2019. That may have been all he had originally planned for the story. 🤷‍♀ Violet’s Tale was released in July 2022.

Loved it. Great pairing. Like you Ren is very ADHD as he calls it. He hyperfocuses on music. It looked like you were hyperfocused on the story. He's hard to figure out. Very well read. Aldous Huxley, George Orwell, Kurt Vonnegut. Loves the anti-hero, Scarface, Walter White in Breaking Bad for example. His music has layers upon layers,metaphors, double and triple entendres. Easter eggs all over the place. Every bar has some meaning, even when it doesn't sound like it does. He weaves words, flows, symbols from one song to the other. He has so many influences. Every artist he chooses to work with shines in a special way. He wants others to shine.

One of the main reasons I watched your reactions was how excited and fun they were, you always had something to say. Some things that always amaze me when I rewatch this is how Ren uses his surroundings like an effects pedal... in Violets Tale when he steps into the hallway and then the stairwell - just brilliant. Then the guitar work, when he plays the bridge backwards to rewind time. The haunting calliope quality at the beginning of the Screetch segment. Or the mariachi-esque quality to the instrumental intros... Amazing Art. Ren has an incredible talent for grabbing your emotions and bringing you along on his journey. The other day i watched a reaction to this & i have seen tons of reactions to it & this guy was the ONLY one i saw who actually called the ending ahead of time i was like whoa pretty wild

One of the best reactions I have seen today so far!!!! I realize you have a huge list of songs from Ren that have been recommended and I'm sure people have already recommended the Big Push (a band Ren was part of) and Trick the Fox (the first band Ren was in.) I think you should add somewhere in there the diss tracks between someone who was clout chasing and Ren and Knox Hill. I loved your reaction and break down of the Tom MacDonald and Mac Lethal diss tracks! I think this would be fun for you when you need a break from the heavier Ren stuff. I've written out the timeline for you in case you need it: There is a rapper on YT A named King Dotta. He had gone after other YT rappers like Crypt, Scru Face, and DuaneTV without getting much traction. Michelle Show reacted to his stuff and hyped it up. So Knox Hill releases his song "Killshot"Remix and somehow King Dotta and the Michelle Show think Knox is firing shots at Dotta, a line about the Boogeyman because that is Dotta's nickname, I guess. Dotta put out a diss towards Knox Hill called "Crown." Knox ignored it. Then Dotta was in the comments on Ren's videos arguing with Renegades and saying Ren was even good and pulling the race card about Ren (like Dr Umar is doing to Eminem.) This was right before Ren and Knox were about to hit their 1 million sub mark and Dotta had about 800 subs total. I guess Dotta got on one of Ren's Twitch streams in the chat talking crap so Ren said I don't battle rap but I'll battle with you for the culture. Ren wanted to have it like King of the Dot, face-to-face, off the cuff. It seems Dotta didn't like that, wanted to be able to use his phone cuz that's where he writes his lyrics but Ren said I write just as much as you do and I can rap my lyrics without having to read them. Anyway, the come to an agreement of one track, done in One take, no instrument (as in no guitars.) They would each put out a video, Dotta going first and Ren would respond. Dotta puts out his diss to Ren "Kingdom Come" but he couldn't help but throw out more shots at Knox because by this point anyone following Ren or Knox knew they were now friends and talked and had actually hung out together (Knox has 2 amazing interviews with Ren on his channel.) An hour after the diss to Ren is released Knox Hill drops "Stan" Remix! You can hear at the beginning of Knox's song that Knox put in a line from the Kingdom Come track (Taking knots for Knox.) 24 hours later Knox Hill drops "Patiently Waiting" Remix. Another diss to Dotta. Ren comments of the video "How do you kill someone that's already dead, asking for a friend?" 🤣 Ren drops "Dumb King Come," battle rap is changed forever! EPIC!

The big difference between Ren and the other artists you were mentioning is that he does every genre and he does them all brilliantly. He also does it as a fuly independent artist. No label, no financial backing, no PR machine, no management. Every label under the Sun has tried to sign Ren. He's turned them all down! With Ren it really is all about the music! He also does everything wile in constant physical pain and suffering from the effects of 2 severely debilitatind, chronic illnesses and a whole host of associated conditions and illnesses, including severe autoimmunity. At his worst he was bedridden, in unrelenting chronic pain, which left him unable to properly sleep, for 7 years! He's been unable to tour or promote his work. He's spent the last year, far from home, in a clinic in Canada, undergoing experimental medical treatments, in an attempt to repair some of the damage done to his body and brain. Despite all the above, Ren's second album entered the UK album chart at number 1, knocking Drake off the top spot! In doing so, he became the first fully independent artist to acieve a number 1 UK album! It also went top 10 in several other countries and topped the US hip-hop chart! :) Although his last album was focused on rap and hip-hop, he really does do EVERY genre and always brilliantly, as I mentioned earlier. The other thing that sets Ren apart, is the fact that he does EVERYTHING musically. You've yet to hear Ren properly sing. You're in for a treat! Ren has incredible vocals, capable of multiple voices, styles and tones! He raps like a rap god, scats and beatboxes brilliantly! Ren plays about dozen instruments well. Half of them RIDICULOUSLY well! All self-taught! He's a top-notch producer and lays down all his own music/beats/audio. He directs most of his own videos, many of which, like Hi Ren and each of the 3 Tales, are recorded live, in a single take! As you've already witnessed, his performance skills are first class and his stage presence is palpable! His songwriting is world-class! Especially his lyricism. He's a poet really and a bloody good poet at that! :) All the above sets Ren in a league of his own. He's often compared to other rap artists but although he's as good as the best rappers out there, he's not just a rapper. Name a genre. Ren's done it and done so ridiculously well! Add in his independence and seemingly endless musical abilities and he really is unmatched atm! A truly unique artist! A musical genius! A once in a generation talent! :) tl/dr - Ren's great! Ren's music is great! Definitely keep reacting to Ren! You won't be disappointed! You WILL be surprised... constantly! :)

Ren portrays domestic violence so realistically it's as if he's a younger me. I learned quickly to play dead if i wanted it to stop...I was 7 months not 9,my baby was born with many,many,many birth defects,died when he was 13💔
