Renaissance Fair 2021 New York | Fantasy Weekend

Sterling Renaissance Festival held to recreate the arts and history of the Renaissance. Generally held outside and on weekends faires offer all things Renaissance, and many things other. They usually happen during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I but time periods vary from 1300 to 1800. They are usually set in England, but many be different countries such as Scotland, France.
Faires offer lots of entertainment, from games to swordfighting and Shakespeare to comedy and magic.
Faires are also known for their costumes. Entertainers and Vendors are almost always dressed in costumes (called 'Garb') that are nearly historically accurate for their character.

I just went this weekend because a family member was an actor in the show. I had such a great time!

This is so incredibly green, I am in Phoenix, Az. and our s looks like it s on, Mars,..! OMG, I miss the green so much, i may have to go to the flagstaff, one.

Soon it will be all white here for winter. But spring here is incredibly beautiful. Green all over the places

My family and I went last weekend and oh my god was is freaking busy. It took us an hour just to get into the parking lot and then another hour to get into the park. It was so hot out that everyone wanted to get something to drink. The places were running out of water. The time we had to wait in line for food was at least 45 mins if not longer. It was crazy. I have never seen so many people there.

We have been there at the first week of opening. And its not that much people and not that hot. But still it was so fun and unforgettable experience

Coming back a few years later, if anyone’s talked to the main person who speaks, have you been introduced to Indigo? If not, that’s the Percheron he rides. Got some photos with them recently and they tried to eat my hair 😭🫶 donated to them afterwards haha (Forgot what the guy said after the event, so uh- using they for now)
