He's declined the red belt 13 times by now! He is also working on this new guard called 'quantum guard' where by sweeping an opponent, he sweeps at the same time all his team members and coaches that are watching. Some kind of invisible entanglement stuff. The guy is a freaking genius! His next tutorials are supposed to be implemented as chip in all new borns for maximum humanity impact. The training partners in the series are silver backs from a famous zoo. Master Renatch is really another specimen!

Rhasaan Orange (born August 25, 1975 in New York City, New York) is an American actor. Orange is most well known for his portrayal of Detective Thomas Edward 'Tek' Kramer on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives. As a child, he appeared on the PBS children's series Sesame Street. Orange is also a black belt in 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu under Eddie Bravo. He has gained some notability as the creator of a fictional carioca Brazilian jiu-jitsu celebrity named Renato Laranja.[1][2][3] The word "Laranja" in Portuguese means "Orange", so the character is somewhat of an alter-ego.

OK, it is certainly true, Laranga is an often an abrasive and petulant man, sometimes humorous and was plain oozing, embarrassingly over Ronda. BUT, his BJJ record and this most impressive demonstration affirms his Cunning, his guile, his superior technique on the mat. Humbly, I presume, his picking fights, acting the fool, assuming the villain is his attempting to procure entry into the UFC; the 'big show'. Personally, I love his style; techniques and stratagem of HiGH level accumen. BUT, again, as the saying goes, despite one's skill (say, the bottom game), once the strikes rain down, you're a white belt again! ALSO, as I'm sure you've noticed, I have no idea what I'm talking about (so, just ignore me). MY POINT: fuck it, let 'em fight! You know you'd be curious.

Wasn't bravo 50 when that happened. It's like Bravo going against your 75 year old Grandfather in a BJJ. In fight 2 Bravo at over 50 years old choked out Laranja in less than a minute. Then a few minutes later when he came to he sprinted out the door to avoid a further whooping. Who is Renato Laranja? I can't find one of his actual fights. I can only find videos where he sets up encounters with a camera to confront famous people, and on MMA shows that I've never heard of. Most people he challenges are close to twice his age. I'm sure he's a great BJJ fighter but where can I see the fights instead of obvious self promotion of him confronting his elders. Does anyone have any links to his fights or know where to get them. On KZfaq all I see are staged confrontations and encounters at events. I want to see actual fights against people in his weight class. Nate Diaz punked him and Renato walked away. I guess when he doesn't set it up and is confronted with a fighter his age he backs down. But I'll say it again he must be good if he is a 27 time world champ. Does anyone know what tournament that was in? I want to see some real fights, not WWE style peacocking from staged encounters.

Man UFC sucks!!! Here we have a 27 time BJJ world champion and he has no fights in the UFC, he is at the end of his career but has been at the top for a long time. He must have done something to Dana or something. i mean im no expert but it seems he is doing everything to be signed including submitting Weidman when he was the champ, i say it again UFC sucks. Maybe if we get enough ppl to sign a perdition we can coerce Dana or something. I don't know Laranja's weight class but he would without a doubt be ranked in the top 2 - 3 in his weight class and could even go up some weight classes and be a top contender at least if that is what Dana wants, because as we know in BJJ weight does not matter nearly as much as in other combat spots. And for all of you ignorants who think this guy cant make it because he only has BJJ, the thing is that a guy who is a 27 time world champ has to be an elite athlete so he can learn. But in my opinion he does not need anything else, he can just submit everybody like Demian Maia. And this guy is much better than Maia, This guy could (if the UFC play's they're cards right) be a multiple weight class UFC champion and its just sad that we wont see him in the cage because of what Dana thinks of him or something like that. I mean come on Dana, i would pay double the ppv rate just to see a specialist like this put some divisions to sleep. Man i wish i knew about him sooner, then i would have made people notice him but life is cruel so i just watched this video and one another where he subitted Weidman when he was UFC champ, yea i just noticed his skills. Like how he made weidman think he was going to punch him so Weidman covered his face which gave Renato a short window to move to his back, man that was slick right? Anyway, does anyone disagree with that this guy could have been very very big in MMA? Would Anderson Silva even be a quarter of what he was at the UFC if he would have had to be in this guy's shadow?
