That is simply awesome. This performance completely gives back that is for me gives the essence of Arcturus - the madness that occures when one is trying to comprehend that he will die, and currently lives in a big, chaotic, ignorant universe without meaning, and he itself is a random "collection of particles hold together by a soul and its memory." =(

Arcturus was so good. I won't say this live performance ruined them, but it didn't do this album any justice. La Masquerade Infernale is, in my opinion, one of the best albums of all time.

Hey where are all you people commenting on this video? I agree that these guys are fuckin killer but I don't know anybody else that's heard of them besides people that I tell....Most likely because I live in Michigan, USA... Vortex is one of my favorite singers and I'm always drawn back to Arcturus... It is completely unique and to me compelling... I'm also a big fan of Hellhammer, his playing compliments the rest of the band, no matter what band he's playing in.....

It's like if GWAR was written by Shakespeare. Kind of tough to follow the narrative tbh, I give it a perfect 5/7

Hail Arcturus!! They are back in 2011 and I will cross my fingers (all of them) and hope they come to Portugal !!! Great song, with a messy visual presentation. The stage should had a better scenario with torches, better lighting and some fog. Anyway I like the show!

@mitchell0406 True, I do like most of Dimmu's stuff, just not too happy with their treatment of Vortex and Mustis. Favorite albums were SBD and PEM, though their albums before those were nice too.

Some more good albums to get if you like this kind music: SOlefald: Pill agains tthe ageless ill Ulver: Blood Inside Age of silence: acceleration (singer from soelfald,and hellhammer on drums..)

Listen to this song and especially vortex's vocals and then check out the trial by pink floyd...definately an influence ;)
