I have an F1, also in liquid yellow, has a very similar R27 number plate to yours. I just wanted to say that its my pride and joy, the colour is one of the best paint colours you can get on a car. Where this car really hits home though, is just how well it drives. The involvement you get, and when you get to a corner, just put your foot down because you just can't unstick it. I'm happy to see someone else enjoy driving it because I thought it was just me. Such an awesome car. Keep the wicked videos coming... especially the Clio R27 ones...

Great video Adam, must say being a proper honda nut afew years back a friends brother bought a 197 Clio and we had alot of fun. Wasnt alot in it between the Clio and my friends JDM Ep3. Was really impressed with how much fun the Clio was once I had go behind the wheel aswell.

I have a 172, honestly one of the best hot hatches ive driven. Can just be thrown around corners like nothing, mine also has front bumper gaps, missing headliner and many rattles, But id still pick it over most cars!

The 197 are fantastic wee cars . Had mine 12 year also have a clio 172 cup and a megane 275 trophy. Thought when I got the meg 2 years ago would have sold the 197. I didn't and got it ceramic coated then alloys powder coated and new ps5 fitted can't see me letting it go anytime soon. Great vid mate. 👌

I paid 5,200 for a French blue 197. I have since rebuilt the box and stuck an LSD init. Pbs brake pads and uprated fluid along with some semi slicks... 2 track days later and its safe to say I have the bug. 😄 Coilovers, 2 bucket seats and a cage is next. By far the best and most fun car I have owned 👌

Im looking at one for 5,800 already prepped for the track, really considering whether to get the 182 or the 3 RS for maybe 1000 euros more.

@@TestingTesterOfTheTesters 5,800 is a good price if its track ready. I have spent 1200 on Gaz Gold coilovers.... Absolute game changer 🙂. Some of the lads I do track days with have a 172 cup, 182, and a supercharged 197. All great cars and a hell of lot of fun. The supercharged 197 is a different animal now!

Aww great to see Finn is all better. I've always liked the look of these, I have an r26 running 300/300 and they're so much fun. My front bumper likes to move around too haha. Everything rattles and creaks but it's french and one of if not the most fun cars I've owned on a b road. Mine has cruise control and heated mirrors, oh the luxury haha

The mpg puts me off. Would love one otherwise. I had a modified rs172 and hooned it everywhere and still got around 33-35mpg

Yes replace the radio with single Din I have so now Bluetooth plus Royal Steering wheels, wheels spacer and mine is the Liquid Yellow 2012 with fitted aero pack and yes the buckets as well.

The bumper issue is common its not held on by much and the weight causes it to sag. I have fixed mine underneath with some big cable ties around the aluminium crash bar and the plastic frame underneath the outer bumper skin.

Appleplay single din doesn’t really exist unless you get a flip out screen. However if you do find one please let me know

I've a gorgeous low mileage 182 Cup Pack and love it, however I've been debating whether I should get a 200 Cup or even replace what I have with a 200 Cup. What do we think ?

I have had my 197 for 7 years now. Sadly the gear box has had its days. Not sure what to do with it. Nice fun car to drive though. Looking to sell it on soon I think.

So everyone talks about how good these cars are and i cant lie, i love mine, i switch cars (normally) every 3-6 months, this I've kept for well over an year and still get joy out of it, most of my driving is on the freeway and shes sitting at 243 xxx, few things that come with a car of this age rubber wears, timing belts need to be change (this is expensive) my ac compressor shat itself, living in Australia that's difficult to find, the worst complaint i have is how shitty the clear coat is, mines faded to bits and its an 08 build, can't forget the chocolate gearboxes too. Other than these things and the expensive maintenance i love it, meets my needs to a T, really there is nothing else that can compete with it in terms of value - referring to fun, practicality, specs (brakes, handling and acceleration is unmatched within this price range) and fuel efficiency, my old girl is still getting less than 8l/100 km on the freeway, that's seriously impressive

Never driven a clio rs, absolutely love my fn2 8600 Rpm every gear and i have a 3 inch intake and a 70mm cat back she screams

I Do not like the seats.. everything ok up till Yu get to the head rest.. ahhhuk!!! Even the standard seats (look better)..
