Today I am showing you how to create Renewal Elixir; a New Beginning for a New Year! This potion has some fun iridescent embellishments and goes from Black to Iridescent Sparkles of Pink, Blue, and Green! The camera definitely doesn't do this potion justice, it is so pretty! This will be a great prop to add to our potion and prop collection.

1 Glass Bottle with a Stopper ( I got mine from Hobby Lobby)
Iridescent Mica Powder (I got mine at Michael's)
Iridescent Confetti
Mod Podge
Paint Brushes
Galaxy Mica Powder
Black Cording
Black Food coloring
Rubbing Alcohol
White Sealing Wax Hot Glue Stick
Embossing Markers (I got mine from Michael's)
Label printed on Sticker Paper

Absolutely love your videos and your potion bottles. I have looked at gosh so many of them. Each is unique and it shows your great massive amount of talent. I tried using some of your techniques and did not have the success you have I wish I knew what I did wrong and went and got the mica powder from Michael's which was in a kit I'll put a link maybe to show you what I got maybe I got the wrong stuff but I had absolutely no shimmery swirly qualities in mine. I tried using the food colors and to do the mixes still nothing no go I don't know if it was the mica powder or me I just don't know any suggestions I can go ahead and order the micah powders that you link because those were absolutely beautiful and they look a lot different from the ones I got. Thanks for any helpful tips. It was recollections mica powder haad 6 colors. I used an entire bottle and nothing swirled . I started small bits went to mor. Got nothing. It settles to the bottom and I shake

@@lmannix the multi pack from Michael’s unfortunately is not the same quality. Some of their individual ones will give you shimmers but this set is probably your best bet. amzn.to/3QTKQx5

What printer would you recommend to print the labels? Which one do you use? Thanks

I use an Epson Eco tank, ink jet printer; I have adjusted all of the settings to best quality, in the printer settings and in the programs. Laser jets are fantastic but pricy.
