Every day I get so many emails and comments asking why you can’t locate the music I use or find it using Shazam. I purchase music licenses for almost all the music you hear in my videos. I buy them them from various royalty-free production music sites and most of the time they don’t list the performer because it’s music made only for film productions with an audio watermark throughout the entire track, unless you purchase the single-use license for $50-100 per track. I use a lot of opera so often I’ll reference the opera but I won’t be able to direct you to a recording of that specific performance that you could stream or buy on iTunes or Spotify. Hope that clears things up and thank you for appreciating quality music.

Just "enjoy your new space for you", it is worth all the work and expense for yourself if no one else appreciates it or not. We will appreciate your hard work from through your lens, your smile and the twinkle in your eyes. I appreciate you saying that you spent time with your mother-in love as well as your parents. I was raised with so much time spent with my grandparents, "Oh the love and richness of wisdom" that was woven into the tapestry of my life. Enjoy your time with them, my grandparents and parents have passed way to young and oh I miss them. Time passes very fast dear Kylie! Your spaces are coming together beautifly, thank you for sharing. Hug and kiss your precious little boy, we love you Kylie and family.

If you add a strip of wood across the front of your shelves, it will hide the wood that the shelves are sitting on, plus it will make your shelves look thicker and more substantial.

G, preferring his shirts ironed and folded. Hysterical. I forgot how "typical" Italian men are with such matters. In 21 years of managing households in IT and CH, I don't think I have ever seen a shirt ironed and hung. They're always ironed and folded. Cracks me up....

You will never regret getting something that you love. I believe in surrounding yourself with beautiful things that will always make you happy and will give you so much enjoyment. Life is brief, so if you can swing it financially then gift it to yourself and your family. I always tell my kids (adults) make a beautiful home for yourself even if its just a small apartment. It is a place where you live, rest and gather. So, well done Kylie. Enjoy your lovely home.

Kylie, I bought a silk blend Middle Eastern rug a few years ago for my bedroom and every time I enter the room I enjoy looking at it. It elevates the room and adds a style that makes me enjoy the space every time. (It was on sale too at half the normal price. They gave me a certificate of value for insurance purposes). Something I've read about and noticed with this type of rug too is that the hand knotting means the rug when viewed from different directions can be have a lighter/ brighter or darker sheen. It's not about how it is vacuumed. Also I was told a silk blend rug is less slippery than a pure silk rug so something to note for any readers. Loved your mood board and the final rug choice is perfect it elevates the quality of the look you are building with your bedroom. It is so exciting to make a beautiful space to live it really adds to your quality of life every day. Glad to watch your journey.

One of the things that life teaches is it is never about going fast to the finishing line, it is the whole satisfying journey and unveiling of the plan and the stepping stones along the way. I know it can feel like things take ages, once it is all done, you get to miss the fun you had in the creating 😂 I am writing my own rom com book just now which is like a Bridget jones in positano 😂 and I am basking in going slow because I know I’ve spent 7 months writing it and I don’t want the love story to stop 😂 it was very philosophical about the pace of savouring what you have in the NOW. My dear Kylie this was such a warm , inviting video that put a smile on my face. You sweet boy is getting around very well now and his little voice so precious. The wonder of little ones is such a joy. I’m so happy your parents get to enjoy him at these young years. The bathroom, bedroom are going to be glorious when you get it all decorated. Guido will come around and enjoy it so much too. Thank you for sharing your lives and for all the work you put into your videos. The music is always beautiful. I will look forward to the reveal of these beautiful spaces. I’m glad your mother in law shares in the shopping of beautiful things and you have a lovely relationship with her too.❤❤❤❤❤ It’s so easy for people to post their view points on what looks bad, or what you should do or consider Kylie, but the bottom line is that this is you and Guido’s home and you are doing a fabulous job in bringing what you desire into your space. Look past the comments that mean well but are not so kind in wording at times. It’s so easy to be a critic. I wish you and your family a wonderful week. Your outfit today looks very refreshing. Your dad in the pop was a hoot. Much love to you all. 🥰✨🙏

There are so many ways to make a space warm, cozy, and lovely for making your most precious memories, and your way does not disappoint. Just a little advice on the mold issues which plague Tuscany in the summer Kylie. Your beautiful hyacinth reed baskets absorb moisture from the air and they will start to grow fluffy mold. I know because I have a beautiful hyacinth reed basket with a very large Zanzibar plant in it and a Vietnamese hyacinth reed shopping basket and both have had mold issues in the SEQ summer humidity. Ventilation and sunshine are your savours for keeping these beautiful baskets fresh and dry 🙏❤️ Yours and Guido’s home is looking loved and cherished once again ❤️❤️❤️🌺

Isn't it funny how weather changes from week to week? We were down at 7 degrees F just ten days ago and this week we are up around 60 degrees during the day. Crazy! It's wonderful that your father is out kayaking in the pool! I turned 62 earlier this month and have thought for a couple of years that I'd like to take up kayaking. Lots of little lakes around North Texas. ;) GianFranco sure is toddling around! It's fun to see how curious he is. I bet he is "talking" up a storm and vocalizing how excited he is about things around him. 💕The bathroom turned out so nicely! Thanks for taking us through your mood board for it and now for the bedroom. I think I would have bought the run, too. It's amazing all the stuff which can be crammed into a car even with carseats, shopping bags, suitcases and such!! I remember driving home from Texas (20+ years ago when my brother and his family lived here with the US Air Force.), my two young children and I stopped in Arizona and hauled back a vintage desk with small glass-fronted bookshelf attached for my daughter's room. I also found a vintage chandelier. Good memories! Plus, you get to enjoy something and give it love again. Real beauty in old pieces!! Glad you found a wardrobe for your bedroom and some other pieces for other rooms! Btw, you look great!! All that working out is doing its job and making you fit and lean again. Something else I am working on this year. ;) Happy almost February to you and your family, Kylee! Hugs from Texas, Barb 😄

Dear Kylie, and all who reads this: sometimes it could be annoying that your beloved husband might be so opinionated but it is truly a blessing in a way that he is so involved and cares about the decor and the overall aesthetic of the room 😅 too much of anything is a problem but I rather have him be part of the process than you having to do everything alone and not being appreciated for the time an effort that it takes to make the house a family home. I’m enjoying these past episodes a lot since I came back from my YT seasonal break 😊❤

Your bedroom is going to be so beautiful! Well done on all you have done so far. How special that your father is able to do so much to help you. Have you considered leaving the curtain rods the same length that they are now and not cutting them shorter? It would mean that the curtaining could be pushed over the walls and would not obscure any of the light coming in from the windows. It might mean that more fabric would be required though.

Kylie, that rug! IMO, it's perfect. It gives you a balance of darker and lighter backgrounds. It has that gorgeous blue that ties into the chandelier, as well as the green. And to cap it off, the shape of the pattern mimics the arabesque-like shapes in the bed frame! It will look lovely against the white bed linens. I agree with the choice of solid curtains and it will be easier to find a trim that complements the rug. Of course, you can trim all the edges, but I think adding a wide brocade trim just across the bottom will give you that luxurious feel you're looking for💙. Can't wait to see it all come together!

Very very nice, the bathroom looks fantastic. It’s always hard to try and match fabrics with other materials. Maybe you should do a sample board. Collect samples of fabrics and paint colours, then build your board. Take your board with you when out looking for things. Once you’re happy then you can purchase. There is no second guessing. Or taking things back because you realised they do not go. Makes interior design a bit easier. You still have done an excellent job. You should be proud of your self. ❤️👍❤️

The greatest thing about this video is your absolute joy and enthusiasm for what you've achieved and what you and Guido have been looking at and found! No matter what everyone says, (and tastes vary hence "Degustibus non est disputandem") THIS is all that matters! I looked at your "mood board" pics and they are mire or less all french interiors, most with light painted floors and Aubusson style tapestries in beautifully worn chateau or manor settings. Lovely as they are, it's a different setting than your beautiful tuscan farm house, and working with the TONS of charm already present, instead of against it towards a different style entirely would be a pity. I understand your love of heavy embroidery or silks with gathered legnths on the floors, I do! But it's not that type of house, not the french 17-18th century windows, and it's not very practical either in a home with little feet and sticky hands, and hotter weather (and those types of curtains need heavy lining or are ruined in a matter of a coupke of years in the sun, and arent ever meant to be drawn across the window for the night either). I think the choice to go with pure linnen is much more in keeping with your house and location and the green will be beautiful, provide shade, and is easily washed and ironed, and just as charming ironed as it is naturally wrinkled and gathered as well. I agree with what you said about light rugs against the cotto floor. That would be a mistake and require a gigantic size or break up the floor and look like an island. I did like thr Ziegler style one thay was a grey-blue and gold hue. No 2 i think in the "test motage" of the first batch, but the others didn't look right. The last one we saw too little of in place to really tell. It does work with the wrought iron bed, but wasn't what I'd expected. I'd likely have gone with a deep mottled burgundy close to the color of the floor, for harmony, or a flat woven turkish kelim/kilim style rug which I love for a tiled floor. What's important is you are in love with your choices! The wardrobe looks like it could be great painted! And very practical, which is key for young family life. I think I'd keep a lookout for some textile of sorts to hang behind the headboard over the closed cupboard. Like a tapenstry, an old quilt, or classic Suzani wall hanging (it's a type of tree of life motif often with birds and pomegranates in a form of Indian embroidery common in fine English interiors, easily found on Etsy for example). I'd keep my eye open for something that might work whilst concentrating on priorities. Your bathroom in the sunlight is a real dream! Not bothered at all by the simple solutions of linnen, baskets, etc, less is more, so much already speaks there! I'm incredibly jealous of your weather! My gosh, weve had around - 6 to -18 c here for months and now since a week its +-0 to +3 and wet and foggy and very dark with the snow all gone. And spring wont arrive yet until mid April sometime. I'm sensitive it's depressing to me. Whats more exiting is I was gifted a 4x5meter persian rug by dear friends who moved and couldnt fit it in their smaller home, it's the most luxurious gift and an unusual bright coral color with dark and pale blue ornamentation around it, and entirely unexpected! I'm now busy thinking how to revamp my living room so it harmonizes which is exiting. Good quality handknotted salon rugs in fine condition are beyond my reach these days, so I'm chuffed to say the least! It will add warmth and energy to my north facing livingroom in this climate that has a long dark winter. So here's to Persian rugs! Woot! Oh and Kylie, never use the brush bit when vacuuming a real oriental rug. It's a big nono. 😉

Watching your videos and seeing your house, the land, the food, the people... It's just like you're reciving a big, warmful and serene smile. That's the energy that surronds me everytime I put myself down and slow down a little bit to see your videos. And the bathroom, the bedroom, with all that natural materials and rustic touch, plus the green and wide fields and the sunlight softly invading the room... it's like softly being hugged by nature. A true bless of God. Congratulations for the hard work! You really bring beauty to the world with your eyes and hands

In the USA they advertise a bath mat called PurrPalazzo bath mat. It is made of some type of stone and drys really quickly and comes in colors. If I had your stone floor I would put a backing on it or lay it in a tray type thing, we have them for boots and called boot tray to protect the floor. But that might work because you would not have to wash it often and it would dry quickly.
