Great job on the concrete, Dan. About two years ago I tackled my first concrete project. A 24x48 foot x 4 inches deep slab and a lot of work doesn’t come close to describing the job. It’s a lot of fun watching you young folks working with so much energy.

Outstanding job you guys! I am so glad you had some help getting it done. You owe Nick and Dan a big one! It looks good and will last forever! The homestead will constantly change over the years for you guys like it has for us. We are in the process of moving the garden because the trees have grown do tall they shade it out. I could cut the trees down I guess, but a couple of them are so large the wife and I can't touch hands when we wrap our arms around them. Another thing I did not take into account 20 years ago. Those oaks were already there and tall but over the years they have spread out at the top. I would have never guessed it.

I remember when you were still in the UK in your van before you even bought the land. you have come so far. It must feel so good to be able to channel all the passion you have had inside of yous for years into physical work and watch your vision take on a life outside of you! you will watch these videos back one day, far into the future, with so much loving memory and gratitude that making small movies about the process was a part of the journey.

It’s great to see that you have a network of friends. Dan likes to have a go at anything that needs to be done, but sometimes it’s good to get help and advice from friends to learn from their experience.
