Hey guys ..don't forget to put instect prevention nets doors ..so on your door you can have two doors one which can always be closed ..can swing back when you open ..find a way to fabricate it to work with the one Yiu have ..plus in all your ventilators put insect prevention nets you can buy them in the hardware store and make a flame and fix it in place that your house will be insect free .. nothing crawling can enter ..thx

It's funny. So many here worried about you two. I remember when I was young as you two. So much easier to make adjustments , changes , moves ,whatever. Free as a bird. Now old , more difficult to do all that. Becomes a balance of health , finances ,the need to be more conservative.....no radical changes allowed. Not enough time to recoup. Whatever you feel the need to do , just try to make the best decisions for you. It's easy to see your relationship is as strong as your stone house. You'll be fine. I'm not worried. 😊

That is quite a job!! I have one of those ladders, kind of heavy but super convenient with the easy height adjustment. I'm sorry you still have to do the back and forth Portugal to England travel.

Tbh honest I’d have had the electrics on the wall in some looking industrial conduit, probably cost a little more, but save a heck of a lot of time and hassle.

If you have to get wiring into the wall again use patches of fast drying plaster about 15-20cm apart to fix the conduit & then hide it all with concrete ....
