you did a great job! I would suggest getting a ceramic, or solid lampshade when you replace the ones you have on the island. Just so you don't have light going right into your retina, which will annoy you after a bit. I would also suggest getting a table lamp as it's super cozy.

If you don’t end up finding a perfectly sized mat for the back door, you could probably either use a saw or maybe a sharp box cutter to cut it to the perfect size! I love the mix of old and new in the kitchen! And I can’t believe those stools came from Amazon!!! They’re so good!

@nadinennr well eggs may have bacteria and poop residue from the chickens,. You can't wash the shells beforehand because you take off the waxy surface they have making the eggshells porous, thus letting air in and spoiling them. You may wash them only before using them, so it is recommended to store your eggs in a container where you only store eggs 🥚
