the sims team needs a completely new team for builds bc there is absolutely no way they said “oh yeah this lot is pretty good, let’s release the pack!” 😭

Harry Potter may be the most famous, but at the end of the day, it's not the only 'magic school' story to exist. Saying all magic schools are Harry Potter references is like saying all vampire stories are Twilight references. Make the magic school, Kayla, it's fine.

I personally LOVE realm of magic, it doesn't even feel like the Sims. ALTHOUGH the magic school is HORRIFYING, and we can't even rebuild it without a cheat!!

I think one reason why Morgan is so popular as a townie is because they're masculine framed but at least one of their outfits is from the feminine cas catalogue

Can we take a second to appreciate how Kayla always has gameplay in mind when she's building? Like she thinks of stuff like dorm rooms and kitchens and bathrooms cause she knows that having these features makes the game so much more enjoyable.

Ea with their damn builds, they really should update all worlds and also the npc households. It's so stupid that our base game npc's still don't have optional cold and warm weather clothes

Kayla describing her relationship with Realm of Magic as being “rocky” is the understatement of the century! I remember when the pack first came out and she cried over the dreaded “stairs to no where”. TEARS. Tbh she is right about everything, always.

When it comes to limiting packs, I think it's always pretty safe to assume that if you have Realm of Magic, you'll also have Vampires, Werewolves and Paranormal Stuff, so mixing those is usually no issue for most people. Supernatural gameplay is so much fun.

I know it isn't directly related, but I would love to see the Sims Team make even more use of community experts. I know they are hiring builders to do most new lots in packs now - and the difference between the pre-Snowy Escapes lots and the new packs is marked. What I think they need to do now is hire in a small panel of experts to "sanity check" build mode items, things like one item in an obvious set is missing swatches, sometimes there are a couple of swatches that are near identical, whilst another colour isn't included, if some items in a set have "distressed" and "pristine" variants, make sure all items in that set, and all colours have both variants!! It is disheartening to have to add recolour mods to get what should be a "complete" build set. Even worse for those who don't have access to mods. It'd just be nice if we only had the gameplay bugs to annoy us after release, without build/buy being incomplete also!!
