Thank you Frog for enjoying our video and your kind words! I highly encouraged any and all police officers to come and have a free meal. Police officers have a very difficult job and they go under a lot of challenges, and they see a lot of bad things in life that give them post traumatic stress. I embraced them just like I embraced my fellow brothers and sisters who are homeless. We can never judge, but we can never also think to ourselves that one person is going through more challenges in life than others. Behind the scenes, prior to us starting to give the food away, I went next-door to the police station multiple times and I begged the officers to come over to have a free meal, and I told them how thankful and appreciative I am for them doing their job every day. I do agree that the police officers can afford their own lunch, but God was setting a good example of what love is unconditionally, and it also showed to the homeless men and women that we need to love and respect and appreciate and honor our police officers. It was also good for the police officers to see that the homeless people are also our brothers and sisters and that we need to care for them any way we can. God touched a lot of hearts that day and we are grateful and thankful for that. I wish I could tell you the whole story on how it came together but it was 100% from God!
