If I want to listen to Beatles music I’ll listen to the Beatles, I would like to hear this kids doing original material that’s when you know how good they really are, I think they are afraid to leave their comfort zone 🤷‍♂️

No need for them to play original. Their already good playing cover. Thats what a lot of their fans want.

It’s a mark of growth when you go beyond your comfort zone these brothers are great musicians there is no doubt about that but an artist creates his own art, I’ve already heard money for nothing from the original artist, show me what you have , what are you contributing to the mix, all that great guitar playing and all those harmonies wasted on someone else’s music, a lot of people say I’m hating on the brothers that’s not so, Taylor Swift travels all over the world singing her songs, Not Madonnas, and that’s what I would like to hear something original from the brothers we already have those songs from the original artist hell we can still go see them play their music live, I want to hear REO brothers music that’s all and that would be a mark of growth, in my humble opinion of course 🤔

@@florianjm8 the difference is a tribute band does an impersonation, such as to mimic the performance,down to the last detail, the voices, the instruments the accent, the mannerisms, and the clothes, just as an actor playing a part, that’s a tribute band, as opposed to a cover band that only does the songs, but you already knew that, the best tribute Beatles band in my humble opinion is the Fab Four , every note every nuance and the look down to a science, if you are a young person and never had the chance to see the Beatles live, then watching the Fab Four is a close second, The REO brothers are excellent musicians and when you listen to them you enjoy the music out of nostalgia when you watch a great tribute band you enjoy not only the music but the experience, I don’t think I’m been unreasonable in thinking that these brothers have a lot more to show us than just play cover music from other artists, do you agree? If you go see them live and five or ten years later they ask you how was the performance? And you would honestly reply they were ok they did a lot of sixties music and that’s all a nice novelty act,they can’t record because they would have to pay royalties to the original artist and who would buy Beatles music from a cover band when you can buy the original record! I would love to hear an REO brothers original song I would buy that album , wouldn’t you? The covers are good no doubt but they don’t sound like the Beatles or look like Beatles, hence a cover band in a sea of cover band’s and that to me is a waste of god given talent, I hope I’ve answered your question, and my explanation has enlighten you , of course in my humble way, before I let you go let me ask you, have you seen your favorite artists live?did you enjoy it? I saw a lot of live band here in UK claiming to be a tribute band but they dont really play the way you described they should be as a tribute band to the band they are mimicking. Nothing compared to what REO bro’s does.

@@florianjm8 just like I said, is not the same thing a cover is not the same as a tribute, American English, the Fab Four and a few others I can’t recall at the moment are a tribute band with a specific artist in mind and they do the music of that particular artist, a cover band do a lot of songs from different artist they are not trying to imitate they are just doing the music, if it’s all the same to you there’s nothing I can say to change your mind but there is a difference , sorry if my explanation was long but you asked me to enlighten you , and it seems I’ve failed miserably, just take what you can use and discard the rest,the brothers don’t imitate the Beatles they just do their songs 🤷

They have been doing this for years, the same thing for years, another cover band in a sea full of them, no change since the beginning, they don’t even play new music just oldies, so I don’t see the maturity, great musicians! Noted, wasting their time and talent doing someone else’s music, and that’s sad😞

Where is your hatred coming from? 😆 they dont play for you alone, they play for their fans who believe in their talent and their music, there are lots of artists who have their own original songs but they aren't as good as the brothers 😄 if you don't like what you are watching and hearing in this channel go somewhere else.

And i don't think it's a waste of time and talent to relive the memories and legacy of those known bands they are covering, as long as they make people happy who cares, if it's original or not.

@@Annhath2023 a musician makes music not just rehash old ones, the Beatles made some covers of old songs but then evolved with their own music that’s what made them great , John Lennon once said, if you want to listen to old Beatles songs just listen to the records, what do the REO brothers do?oh yeah! They play oldies, all that talent and musicianship wasted on I want to hold your hand over and over , I saw them once live , and a dozen more on videos and it was the same each and every time, don’t get me wrong it was nice to see them live but if I don’t see them again I won’t miss much, we should ask them if after all these years an original song hasn’t pop into their head? If so why not record it? How many albums do they have, how many made it to the charts, that’s all I’m saying they are becoming middle age now it’s time to star working on their own legacy and that would make me want to see them live again, at least that’s my way of thinking, new day new thinking 🤷
