When i first started as a Carpenter and Joiner 37yrs ago there wasnt any better drills than Metabo, but they were never worth fixing back then as cost wasnt worth it. They seem to be regaining their reputation again in the last few years & also worth noting that a couple of the Mafell drills are actually rebranded Metabo. Had to LOL at rhe spare part though "Made in China" when people are paying a premium for that German build quality 🤗

Hi Dean. What are you using to clean all the parts if not a secret. I've tried with a few degreesers and brake cleaner but nothing seems to get all the old grease out. Thanks

Hi sir can I ask your help, I’ve watched loads of your videos over time, I have a dewalt wet tile saw dw2400, I’m getting sometimes different sound on motor, and sometimes it smells, like over doing a drill , I’ve stripped it down last night and noticed the field has ware rubbing type mark on inside, so had the armature, I’m thinking bearings, but obviously can’t tell as they seem ok smooth enough, any ideas please , don’t want to try repairing in it if need new field and armature
