Second season on the lake, my customer has used it a few times since then. Good enough for for what it is. Either throw the boat away a year ago, or get another year or two out of it. I have replaced engines in boats and the customers let the brand new engines crack the first year.

Surprising how few people know this trick: Use clear tape over JB weld after applying. It won't sag and can get it thicker. Clear plastic sandwich wrap works, too. I even do it with fiberglass and bondo. Smooth it out.

I'm a hermit and use a million tricks like this but no one knows them. I thought about making a video but it would be an hour long, at least. I never do as it seems to be against my nature.

Everything is good, it's got one full day in the lake with no issues.

Nothing like trusting JB weld while you're a good distance from land... Well have arms the size of hulk hogan after that paddle back to shore....

Unless it leaks on the inside like mine

Highly likely, shove a camera down spark plug holes, usually you'll be able to.see if it got.in.the cylinder before attempting repair
