Repairing holes in a Sweet 16 receiver.

We purchased a Sweet 16 at a great price. Now we need to clean it up. But we need to repair some holes in the receiver first.

Sort of like installing the ejector in the barrel extension! (Grinding off the excess post.) I'm emotionally attached to ALL my guns! They each have a priceless HISTORY!

Hmmm... Let's take the lightest 12 ga auto shotgun available at the time and mount a bunch of scope/weight to it... ??? seems on the verge of sin... ;) Thank goodness for Art's! Looking forward to seeing the finished piece!

I see you had your engraver strategically engrave a pattern over the hole plugs and at the front of the receiver that was not previously there. Good way to hide them if you have an engraver at your service.

Can you do this to an original 1885 that someone drilled and tapped to put a Williams sight on, I plan on having it color case hardened and not blued.
