Art , any advice for a man that has the modern Miroku version of the gun. Failing to eject a spent case fully but is feeding the next round . Have replaced the ejector and spring and deep cleaned . Exact same issue . Been to two gunsmiths , to no avail . Any advice greatly appreciated .

As usual, you make it all so easy to understand. I’m currently shopping for a 11-48 or 48 in 16 gauge. Right out of the gate, I’ll order one of your kits and get things off to a good start.

Had to use an impact driver for 2 hours on an Spanish Mauser FR8 because the action screws were glued in. I still had to use the impact even when the screw was 1 revolution out so stubborn was the glue in the threads.

I just looked at the historical paper I got from Browning. My 1953 Superposed 12 gauge Grade 1 was sold at a Macy's Department Store in Herald Square in New York City. It sold for $188.11 ! If you don't have a historical record get one from Browning. It is a cool piece of history. Cost is $49.00 and worth every penny.

I inherited my father's Belgium browning and I can't tell the year of manufacturer. It is labeled L and four digits that start with 6xxx. According to the chart it should fall between 1953-1954, but the serial number is greater than the last one manufactured in 1953, but less than the first one in 1954. Does anyone know why this serial number is not included in the chart? What happened to L-4451 through L-23799?

Great video. I learned to shoot on one of these, a Belgian model. Unfortunately it was stolen years ago from my Dad's place. I think these rifles are works of art. They're beautiful. I didn't know about the top loading version.

I picked up an 11-48 in 16 ga that is leaving a slight dished impression of the bolt face on the brass shell casing. I also noticed that although it is firing and cycling, it seems to be shooting at a reduced velocity. I can bust clays with it but it's useless for hunting. Everything that I've shot with it has flown away like nothing ever happened. I did a water bottle test at 15 yds comparing the 16 ga 1⅛ oz #7½ with a 20 ga ⅞ oz #7½ and a 12 ga 1⅛ #7½ . The 20 ga and 12 ga both exploded the water bottle but the 16 ga only penetrated the front and only knocked the bottle over. Something ain't right with this gun. Any ideas?
