I just bought an '87 MacGregor 26D... lots of old screw holes to fill, a bunch of areas with spidercracks, some larger damaged areas (appx 5-20 in2)... watching your videos is really helping me understand my options for repairs before painting. It's a LOT of work putting these types of videos together and publishing... I deeply appreciate your investment in these excellent tutorials.

I just finished rehabbing the companion way slide and sea hood on my project sailboat, following this video to a "T", except for the gel coat step ( I used a wax additive for the cure). I am completely amazed at the result. I'd call myself an amateur with a fair amount of experience with glassing and small boat building, but I still can't get over how well my parts came out. They look like new! Thanks Andy!

You are a true artist and professional, Andy. The videos are priceless and very useful to me, in the effort of restoring my old boat, thank you. The videos are recommended for the handyman, who wants to do the job himself, but for best results, it's better leaving this to Andy. Anyway, it will be more fun to do the job with this basic knowledge. /William

Nice video! Thanks! A recommendation...you can use “surfacing agent in your resin (or in gelcoat) instead of covering it with pva. It is a mixture of parafin and styrene. You put a little in the resin, and the wax comes to the surface to keep the air off the surface so it doesn’t remain sticky. Try it...you’ll love it. No more pva needed. Works in gelcoat too. (Not for expoxies)
