Happy you got it fixed, buddy! And well filmed, too, very clear to see what to do. Pretty much same failure, I had happen on my HBX Ratchet, it has a similar setup with that plastic axle, just a bit smaller and with the screw coming in from outside of the wheel...

Simple enough fix. Glad you were able to get the parts. It makes me wonder why they went with the over complicated driveshafts in this, seems like a good ol steel cvd would be just fine and lord knows there are hundreds of other small buggies running them out there and not the odd multi -piece set up going on with these. I am sure they had a good reason but it is a bit confusing. Take care Jeremy and glad you got it all fixed up!

I couldn’t agree more; I was silently wondering the same thing while working on it! Why go with this convoluted setup is beyond me when a normal cvd would’ve been fine.🤷🏻♂️ Oh well!🤣 It’s fixed and ready for another beat down tomorrow! Thanks a bunch Addam, enjoy the rest of the weekend buddy!👊😊✌️

Same problem on my son's after about 10 runs. Thanks for the info on how to fix. I'll fix it with the available stock parts but looking for a metal alternative as this seems like a weak point that is going to keep breaking. Anyone know of a metal replacement? Thanks!
@HaydadRC4 ай бұрын
9 runs with stock replacement so far! Hopefully it keeps up! I’m really glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks a lot and have a great weekend!👊😊✌️

@@HaydadRC Sure they can handle the weak brushed motor suitable for a 12 year old kid the truck comes with.
@HaydadRC4 ай бұрын
@Schmidt3850 it’s a matter of preference I suppose…of the roughly 60-70 rc’s I own, maybe 10-15 are brushless. The rest are brushed and I’m fine with them.
@Schmidt38504 ай бұрын
That's on you l past the phase of wimpy weak brushed motors over 10 years ago. It's a real simple. You want to go slow and no power use a brushed motor. You want to go fast and have power? Use a brushless motor.
