Would the Typhoon be quicker on good tyres?

Hi, it seems strange to me the kraton stock (12t pinion) should reach more or less 54mph. Now i have fitted in my kraton V5 (forma Spektrum) 14 t pinion but for the moment I didn't take it to full speed

You just need some new tires on that typhon lol. 👍👍I have the 6s Notorious and it is a bad arse basher on just 4s, I also have two 3s and I have used it a hand full of times but it becomes a different Truggy with it at 6s. It is a little to much for me that is. So I usually run it at 4s. plenty of power for where I can run it. I also have the La trax Teton fully hopped up with new motor and ESC. It is a little mad man. I love it. I wanted another so I just ordered the 6s Typhon 5V. Looking forward to messing with it. I would love a Felony but I haven't found a place where I live that I could run it so what's the use of getting it right? Again, cool vid!

With your speed runs..Try standing half way down the track. You will have way better visual and control.

I was intent on a Kraton for my first Arrma basher but settled on the Typhon instead, the camera doesn't do it justice just how fast these are, you won't be jumping the Typhon much on 6s unless you have access to a motocross track, the bmx track is no challenge, even the biggest jumps get cleared easy using half throttle on 4s. Grab a Super Basher Bumper (and the hardware bought separately) and an Arrma HD wing mount, it will 100% more tougher now.

Both are capable of faster. I am hitting 70 mph with the Talion exb using a 21 tooth pinion. The speed pinion is a 23 tooth. I know the Typhoon is faster though. You may just had to quickly adjust the end points and jack the punch up to 9 and then that thing is hitting 75 mph for sure. I love the Typhoon and very soon will be going to the Hobby shop and trading it for either the Typhoon BLX orTLR RTR. The Raptor R was a mistake to have bought. That 3s Velenium is cogging and surging machine. Once you drive 4s, 6s and 8s, 3s is a massive disappointment.

To what end is speed needed in a race buggy? I dont get why everyone does speed runs. UNLESS your building a 100+ mph buggy. Not picking jus curious.
