This week, we've been to uncover something very special - a 30 year-old Japanese performance car. It hasn't moved in over five years and has only done 2k miles in the last 20!
The question is: can we get it out of its run-down, overgrown home? And, will it start?!

The video was really good because I think the whole team bounced off each other but still stayed a team. Check the front strut mounts, as they are double layered and they rust out from the inside. Ironically the r32 doesn't do it , as it single layered steel. As I know you love rust 😊😅

When this car was manufactured, there was no public internet to speak of. I didn’t have a network card on my home PC at the time. Intranet, sure. Internet I think I encountered it first at work in 1995. Phones texted. And made voice calls. Pretty much it. Better days for sure.

I remember looking at these when they were 3-4k. Unfortunately insurance was just to much and it wouldn't make a great Daily with 20mpg or less. After replacing Pump and fuel can i suggest putting some New Modern injectors, these will be dripping fuel in. Funnily enough just reminiscing over Max power magazines i found Yesterday. 650bhp Hamann Ferrari 1994, Remember thinking this was the Fastest car in the World. Now 1000bhp is small change😂😂😅

Hi to all at RE. Great Part1, looking forward to Part2. Got 2 questions for you !! 1. Carbon build-up on the R8's values, would fitting an oil catch can help reduce carbon build-up ? 2. Audi A8 6.0 w12. Starter motor replacement, have you done one. Is it an engine out job or can it be done by dropping part of the subframe to get access? Cheers

Purchased my Janspeed exhaust for my dolomite sprint in 1990 from Ripspeed in Edmonton. Janspeed was Jason Plato's uncles company. I also made & fitted Sextons signage in south croydon branch in 92. Proper car days.

Have a r33 spec 2 with a rb 25. Keep it as stock as possible. Standard cas isn’t great for making power a lot of people put a stand-alone in it and move to a trigger system. and coil packs can be an issue. Have a few bits if your stuck hit me up have a carbon rear diffuser going for sale

Love the videos, especially the technical stuff. Question: How much power can be gained from removing power steering and other auxiliary bits (alternator, AC compressor, etc.)? Would a dyno test of the GTI with and without the auxiliary belt be possible? The reason I ask is because Gordan Murray's T.50 has no assisted steering, so I'm keen to understand the benefits.

Takes me back to my old one brilliant cars and reliable engines thing if I remember rightly that’s a spec 2 engine with the module on the spark plug cover if your going to make it manual tho replace the turbo as I didn’t an ended up pulling then exhaust side turbine out of the front end of my mates rx8 embedded in his bumper 🤣 auto turbo wasn’t used to 15psi an drifting 😂

Spit fire coils garret GTX34 85 gen 2 R 4 inch dump and exhaust ecu inlet manifold and exhaust manifold off your choice bigger fuel pump kelford cams rods piston 400 kw on E85 mine was going it easy with these mods and a LSD and build a box with navara gear or they might have better now this was 4 years ago
