Thanks for the vid, I replaced the wings and the feet on my Hayward, but was worried I was gonna break the flaps. This video helped. Cheers!

Thanks, Im glad I watched, didn’t know about the pin length. Amazon has the flaps for $10 yesterday.

Just what I needed to know, so glad I don't have to disassemble a bunch of other parts like the others I replaced. Just as I thought there is one specific for the front and for the back. I almost ordered two of the same one on Amazon so watch out the picture showed two but check out then does a funny and won't let you buy what looks like one set, you have to update to quantity two but then they would be identical.

Becareful, Amazon has one they promote and it's shown with two and it's not front and rear they are both the same and at check out it makes you get quantity 2 and doubles the price FYI, pay attention.

I appreciate you making this vid, never even noticed one pin is longer than the other or knew that there was some strategy other than push & pray. this pool bot design is absolute brain cancer, those flaps are a nightmare to change, and its even worse if youre trying to install the rightfit aftermarket ones. garbage product, never should have been manufactured.

Zip Zap, I wondered if you could give me some advice. On the 06 LR3 sunroof drain leak on the passenger side. I did the repair before watching your video and didn't clean the plugs with contact cleaner. I put it all back together and the truck says every door is open, and thee parking brake light is on and the interior lights stay on until It times out. I think I'll take it back apart and clean the plugs. Any idea which plug is likely giving me the fault codes? That way I can spend more time on that one?
