2010 BMW 328i was having unlocking issues with key fob and later discovered it was due to the battery. So in this video, I try to show the process of removing the battery from the back right of trunk. Thanks for watching and please subscribe.

I have not seen a battery under rear seat yet. Didnt know there was room there other than a fuel tank haha

Hi hun emergency help my brother in law installed a new battery bcuz now listen to this my old battery was dead I guess the car wouldn't start. But all lights would come on. He jumped it and it started and ran for the night and as usual a jumped battery doesn't stay good so car stopped starting next day. Replaced battery all lights come on but car wint start and now making a weird noise when.trting to start it. Do u know anything abiut this?

Hey. What year is the car being worked on in this video? A friend has an 09’ 428i and her battery took a 💩. Now she was told that when a new battery is installed in these vehicles, the car needs to be reset at the computer. Is this something that isn’t necessary? Or did you just not know about this?

Changed the battery but have not recoded it yet. Waiting for a bmw specialist friend to help with that.

How were you able to remove the key from key fob when the battery was dead?

I honestly do not remember. It's been so long. I think I was able to push the key fob in then it self ejected.

When this happened to me I pulled the power relay fuse and waited a bit till I was able to remove the key (obviously place the fuse back where it was)
