The green cable has powered and the black one is the ground? You are connected the black one on the center that is the correct way because I’m connected in that way and is Brocken my fuse

Okay so I got my to work again but than when I went to plug my phone up both of by cigarette lighter stopped working and idk what had happen i looked back to see if I messed something but everything seams right

It should! It's an universal replacement. Order from Amazon right b4 installing... you still have a month to return, but I'm sure it should fit. 👍🏽

My nissan versa cigg lighter works but not all the time i have to turn it in the right spot to get it to work.. What do you think i can do!!!? Please help get a new lighter / fuse....???

Like in ur video i screw it turning it and turning it then itll jump on and work... the silver part in there is very very lose

Does this happen with all plugs/chargers? Sometimes the spring of the positive(center contact) spring gets stuck. If not I’ll recommend opening the cigg lighter and get it tight. I broke mine by turning it clockwise. The cable came off.

How would I get the middle part tight? And it happens when I plug anything in there even a charger it's so wiggily in there it's not getting good contact it seems.

Angelina Garcia most of them tighten clockwise. But some originals or from manufacturers are not screwable. If it’s not tightening then it needs replacing

Okay it's not tightening so I guess you're right needs to be replaced I believe it is the factory one that's still in there I thank you very much for replying you are a big help!

I tried to do this on my Nissan Sentra 2014 and it would not work. I tried everything it’s almost like the cable we cut off has some form of codes that are sent through the power wire. I’m no mechanic but if you can tell me where you got the replacement so maybe I can order one there or if it actually worked for you. There was no demonstration of it working.

G Class Records the blue light means there’s power. Check to see if it blew up the fuse when it first got damaged

Thanks for responding and I’m both checked and changed all bad fuses to see if that was the problem

G Class Records as long as the fuse for cigarette lighter is good, it should work. Make sure positive cable connects to center contact and ground to inside side This is the one I bought www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZZ69B6C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_QzA4DbB465DHC
