Word of the wise for anyone that works on hummers. Use OEM / AC Delco or you will be doing it again. Used aftermarket 10 months ago for knock sensors and here I am about to do them again.

I have ran onto that issue on a lot of gm vehicals. The check engine light was on the next day with this Hummer.

Mines throwing P0332 also. A rat ate some wires and maybe this one too. I'll check the wires I can get to before I tear it apart. It doesn't look like too bad a job and I'll tackle it myself. Thanks for the video.

Great video man! I could see and hear just great! Time to replace these tomorrow…a shop did this job for me and a year later I have a check engine light…..

Great Video! If both Sensors are the same, Does it matter if the blue wire is in the back and the green one is in front?

I would think so, that's how the computer knows with one is detecting a knock.

The video showed the blue wire in front and the green wire in the back.

manifold bolts need a torque tightening?

Every bolt has a torque spec. It give the engineers something to do. Here is what I found. www.gmfullsize.com/threads/intake-manifold-torque-specs.182830/

I think that's the problem im having with my hummer running rough and engine light on. Replaced all the ignition switches, plugs, and plug wires, but still running rough. Would that make my heater and a/c not to work as well?

I don't think so. You need to pull the code, telling you why the check engine light is on.

Thank you sir. I am going to have that knock sensors done though. That might fix the issue of it running rough.

@GrimRepair I don't know. There's so many things going on with this truck. Its draining the batter, I had to unplug the battery all the time if not being used. NY a/c and heater was working before, now it's not. Replaced all ignition coils, plugs and wires, still running rough. When I saw your video about knock sensor, it made me think that that might be the problem. I'm spending too much money on it, I think ground is also the problem.
