You were fortunate with that quarter panel Ben. It took 2 weeks for BMW to ship my quarter panel from the east coast to the Pacific Northwest where I’m from, and UPS delivered it with a shoe print in the middle of the box and pretended they didn’t know how that happened, and of course the panel inside was damaged and unrepairable. Because it was during Covid getting a replacement meant coming out of Germany, which took nearly 3-4 months 🤦‍♂️

Wow! Great work Ben. Having taught Industrial Arts (Wood Shop, Metal Shop, etc…) for over 40 years here in Sydney, Australia, what you decide to take on is impressive. If I were still in the classroom/workshop I would be showing these videos to my students just to show what a good work ethic is. I keep saying to myself as I watch “you’re not afraid of hard work”. If I could bottle it I could sell it and make a fortune as too many teenagers these days want a free or almost free ride. Keep the BMW rebuilds coming Ben as it raises my enthusiasm to finish my 1-series project E88. Lloyd
