Күн бұрынSimple and affordable repair that truly improved the driving experience of my 1988 BMW 535is. Car is equipped with an M30 engine and limited slip differential, and once the new axles were installed the car feels much sturdier driving over bumps in the road.
I regret not changing the axles sooner so for you Id highly recommend replacing the axles on your old BMW before doing anything else.

Just came from the vid where one of these broke. Now it makes a little more sense. Those are some cheap parts, and it looks the bolts aren’t quite long enough for some reason. If the ones that were on there originally were OEM, it would be far better to rebuild them and use those instead.

Those rear axels are quiet expensive here in EU thats why we restore them,, you get them for cheap!! Good work on the restore mate.

4 months ago I had a e28 m5 It got total by a toyota driver who ran a red light😡. I'm going to buy a red e28 535i saturday Hopefully convert it to m5
