Nice handy job well executed Dana. Handy having that Allen key slot in the end of the ball stud to capture it while you get the nut off, I've struggled with them numerous times in the past! Great presentation once again.

Yes, but if KZfaq don't like my video, they never say why or where in the video the issue is. They then don't give me any advertising money. As little as it is, it does keep my channel running.

Love watching all your videos 😉 angle grinder and slitting disc = standard requirement when doing drop links. Also worth making a note of the spring colour combination for when a spring goes.

Interesting to see car stuff as well. Loved the 'click' on the spanner. 😀One you use the torque wrench to do the accessible one you can gauge well enough.

@bikerstuff2 yup they are usually rusty here and hard to fit anything on them for removal. What is "duck oil".

Hi Dana, I generally go straight for angle grinder on these stupid arrangements totall exposed to the rust. I’ve also used a nut splitter when I couldn’t get access. I dint know why these aren’t encased in something

The nuts were coming off easy enough, but as I don't have a spline key set I was unable to securely hold the stud.

Wow, the MOT is a serious test. Which is great in that you have much safer vehicles on your roads there. Here where I live in the USA, the yearly "Inspection" is a joke. More of a money making thing for the local auto repair places where inspections are done. There are also 13 US states with LITERALLY NO inspections for vehicles, ever. Yep, we Americans are barbarians. :) -Paul, USA
@bikerstuff23 ай бұрын
Yeah, we were like that 100 years ago
@EmilysDadd3 ай бұрын
Never knew that .... assumed that all states had some kind of yearly test, though looking at some of the vehicles that Vicegrip Garage Derek drives, it's not surprising 😂. UK MOT test (Ministry of Transport - as it was) test first introduced in 1960 & then tweaking in 1967 for vehicle over 3 yrs old
